📢 GUN BAN REMINDER 📢

As the National and Local Elections 2025 approach, the Maritime Group reminds everyone of the strict implementation of the Gun Ban from January 12 to June 11, 2025.

🚫 Prohibited Acts:
Carrying, bearing, or transporting fi****ms and deadly weapons in public places is strictly prohibited during the election period.

✅ Exemptions:
Only those with a valid Certificate of Authority (CA) from COMELEC will be allowed.

📋 Submit Your Application:
Exclusively via the COMELEC website during working days (excluding weekends and holidays).

Suspect Arrested in Quezon City for Selling Ci******es Without Health Warnings

Quezon City, November 5, 2024 - A man identified as alias Raul was arrested in an entrapment operation by Northern NCR MARPSTA, in collaboration with the Quezon City Health Department, for selling ci******es without the required graphic health warnings.

The operation took place at the entrance of Cypress Village, Barangay Apolonio Samson, where the suspect sold "Golden Leaf" ci******es to an undercover officer. The suspect failed to provide documents for selling the illegal products.

Authorities confiscated the ci******es, marked bills, and a cellphone from the suspect. The arrested person will face charges for violating RA 10643, the Graphic Health Warning Law, in an inquest proceeding at the Office of the City Prosecutor.
