Maaari nilang gamitin ang pondong naibalik para sa mahahalagang pangangailangan ng kanilang pamilya, tulad ng edukasyon, gastusing medikal, pagkain at iba pang pang-araw-araw na gastusin.

Ang mga kuwalipikadong miyembro at pensyonadong hindi pa nakapag-apply sa Balik Ginhawa 2 ay may panahon pa hanggang Oktubre 31, 2026.

Upon the recommendation of the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC), and in anticipation of continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon, government offices in the provinces of Ilocos Norte, Ilocos Sur, La Union, Pangasinan, Abra, Benguet, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Apayao, Batanes, Nueva Vizcaya, Zambales, Tarlac, Pampanga, and Bataan are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements on 01 September 2026.

Agencies delivering essential and vital services shall continue their operations. Alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented in public and private schools in the aforementioned areas.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

In observance of the National Heroes Day, please be advised that the GSIS Head Office and all branch offices will be closed on August 31, 2026 (Monday).

GSIS members and pensioners may continue to access selected GSIS services and transact through the GSIS Touch mobile app.

In line with the GSIS commitment of delivering fast and efficient delivery of services to its members, GSIS Dagupan Branch Office, thru the initiative of the Officer-in-Charge, Mr. Joven D. Parayno, conducted a webinar on the online filing and approval of claims to the head of agencies and authorized endorsing officers of pilot agencies for the full implementation of the program. The program was hosted by Mr. Wilber R. Castro of the Billing, Collection and Reconciliation Division, Mr. Frederick C. Parajas and Ms. Marizen D. Paras of the Frontline Services Division . Participants were also briefed on other programs and updates currently being implemented by the GSIS.

Upon the invitation of the Urdaneta City Water District, a presentation on the Non-Life Insurance offerings of the Government Service Insurance System (GSIS) was conducted to provide an overview of the insurance products and services available to government institutions.

The session was attended by the Water District’s General Manager, Atty. Efren Domagas, together with the members of the Board of Directors: Chairperson Patricia Magat, Vice Chairperson Aida A. Gravidez, Linda A. Conwi, Ernesto Go, and Ricardo Gerola III. Also in attendance were Water District employees Ryan Terco and Carla Rosario.

Representing GSIS Dagupan were Ms. Marizen Paras and Ms. Lee-Anne Jimenez, who facilitated the presentation and shared valuable information on GSIS Non-Life Insurance offerings.

The activity highlights the importance of strong partnerships and continuous engagement in providing government institutions with relevant insurance solutions and services.
