Under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐃𝐎𝐋𝐅𝐎 𝐏 𝐃𝐄𝐍𝐀𝐆𝐀, 𝐃𝐒𝐂, Regional Director, BFP 7 and guidance of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐀𝐑𝐑𝐀 𝐁 𝐀𝐋𝐏𝐀𝐉𝐀𝐑𝐎, Cebu Provincial Fire Marshal, Dalaguete Fire Station personnel headed by 𝐅𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐂𝐑𝐈𝐒𝐋𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐕 𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐎𝐒𝐀, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, together with the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) – Dalaguete, the BFP Dalaguete Fire Station conducted a Basic Life Support (BLS) Training on October 10–11 for the 𝗔.𝗡.𝗗.𝗔.𝗠. (𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗡𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗗𝗶𝘀𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁) 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 — a FREE, Ladderized DRRM Training spearheaded by SK Poblacion, BCDRRMC, and MDRRMO Dalaguete.

The training aims to equip participants with essential life-saving knowledge and practical skills, empowering them to respond effectively during medical emergencies and contribute to safer, more disaster-resilient communities.

This initiative also highlights the strong inter-agency partnership among BFP Dalaguete Fire Station, MDRRMO Dalaguete, SK Poblacion, and BCDRRMC, demonstrating that through collaboration, shared responsibility, and continuous capacity-building, we can strengthen community preparedness and build a more resilient Dalaguete.

The meeting was important in ensuring proper coordination among concerned offices and stakeholders, clarifying the requirements and procedures for the application, and facilitating compliance with applicable environmental and regulatory requirements.
