🎉 GOOD NEWS FOR DANAO CITY PANTAWID BENEFICIARIES! 🎉

One of the most inspiring highlights shared during the 2nd Quarterly Parent Leaders Meeting held on June 15, 2026 at the Poblacion Covered Court was the announcement that ten (10) Pantawid beneficiaries who applied for DepEd teaching positions have officially been hired and will begin serving as Public School Teachers this June 2026! 👏📚✨

This wonderful milestone reflects how education, perseverance, and the right opportunities can truly help families rise above poverty.

The meeting gathered the 42 Parent Leaders of Danao City together with our valued partners and government officials: Dr. Eric Echavez (City Health Office), Mr. Rommel Dieparine (PESO), Sir Roseller Gelig (DepEd Division Superintendent), Ma’am Josefina A. Mayol (CSWDO), and Ms. Renalyn (City Agriculture Office). Their presence and active participation demonstrated the strong commitment of our local government and partner agencies in supporting Pantawid families.

Throughout the event, Parent Leaders learned about various programs, services, and opportunities available to them—from employment and education to health and agricultural assistance. These valuable discussions empowered beneficiaries with information that can help improve their families' well-being and future.

Successfully conducted the Saulog Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) Ceremonial Graduation on March 26, 2026, at the Kadasig Gym, Cebu Technological University, Danao City, Cebu.

Alexandro Obo, 4Ps Social Welfare Officer III, representing Regional Director Shalaine Marie Lucero, graced the event alongside 4Ps staff and city officials led by Mayor Ramon "Nito" Durano of Danao City. DSWD Regional Director Lucero delivered her message through a recorded video.

A total of 609 4Ps partner-beneficiaries formally graduated from the program.
As part of the support extended, each beneficiary received five (5) kilos of rice from the Local Government Unit of Danao City. Moreover, the City Agricultural Office distributed seedlings as tokens to promote backyard gardening and sustainable food sources among the families.

In line with the transition of graduating households, the LGU assured its continued support through various interventions such as livelihood assistance, medical support, and educational scholarships, ensuring that the gains achieved under the program will be sustained beyond graduation. This reflects the LGU’s vital role in providing aftercare services and long-term support to 4Ps graduates as they move towards self-sufficiency.

The ceremony served as a powerful reminder that while poverty may have been the beginning of their journey, it does not define their future nor mark the end of their story.

Ang among kinasingkasing nga pasalamat sa Sangguniang Panlungsod sa Dakbayan sa Danao alang sa pagpasa niining mahinungdanong ( Ordinance No. 2025-18-240) an Ordinance institutionalizing the City’s Convergence Program for exited and graduated households under the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program.

Kini nga ordinansa importante ug kinahanglanon tungod kay gisiguro niini ang pagpadayon sa suporta alang sa mga pamilya nga naka-exit o nakagradwar na gikan sa 4Ps. Bisan pa nga nakahimo na og dakong kalamboan kining mga panimalay, daghan gihapon ang nag-atubang sa mga kalisdanan. Pinaagi niining ordinansa, gipamatud-an sa Dakbayan sa Danao nga ang paggradwar gikan sa programa wala magpasabot nga gibiyaan na, apan kini usa ka transisyon padulong sa pagbarog sa kaugalingong tiil, pagpadayon, ug long-term nga kalig-on sa ekonomiya pinaagi sa koordinado nga mga programa ug serbisyo.

Glee Delicano )ug sa tanang aktibo nga miyembro sa Sangguniang Panlungsod , alang sa ilang gipaambit nga panan-awon ug suporta sa lehislatibo. Among gipaabot usab ang among sinsero nga pasalamat sa Mayor sa Dakbayan sa Danao, Hon. Ramon “Nito” M. Durano , alang sa iyang liderato ug pasalig sa inklusibo nga pagdumala, ug sa tibuok CSWDO ug Danao City Pantawid staffs alang sa ilang walay puas nga mga paningkamot, teknikal nga input, ug dedikasyon sa pagkab-ot niining ordinansa.
Kini nga ordinansa nagbarog isip usa ka testamento sa pasalig sa Dakbayan sa Danao ngadto sa kalamboan nga nakasentro sa katawhan, pagsiguro nga walay pamilya nga mabiyaan samtang nagtukod kita og mas lig-on na Kumunidad.
