The Local Government Unit of Dapa reminds the public to take necessary precautions as haze may affect air quality and may cause health concerns, particularly among children, older adults, and individuals with respiratory conditions.
AIR QUALITY UPDATE
Based on the latest air quality monitoring information from the Environmental Management Bureau (EMB) Caraga, the PM10 reading recorded at the Doongan, Butuan City ENRO Station on September 3, 2026 was 73, classified as "ππππ₯."
While the reported air quality level remains within an acceptable range, the public is encouraged to remain cautious and limit prolonged exposure to haze, especially among individuals who may be more sensitive to changes in air quality.
PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES:
β’ Stay indoors when haze becomes noticeable and keep windows and doors closed.
β’ Wear a face mask when going outdoors, especially during prolonged exposure.
