DOH: MAGING HANDA SA EPEKTO NG HAZE SA KALUSUGAN!

Dahil sa hanging Habagat, umabot na sa ilang bahagi ng Luzon at Visayas ang usok mula sa forest fires sa Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Maaaring magdulot ang haze ng hirap sa paghinga, pag-ubo, pananakit ng dibdib, pangangati o pagluluha ng mga mata, at paglala ng mga sakit sa baga tulad ng hika. Dobleng pag-iingat ang kailangan para sa mga bata, matatanda, at mga may dati nang sakit sa baga o puso.

Habang nagpapatuloy ang banta ng haze, mag-suot ng mask kung lalabas ng bahay. Alamin ang lagay ng hangin sa inyong lugar at unahin ang kaligtasan. Maging handa sa banta ng Haze!

The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) of Dapa, Surigao del Norte successfully conducted the National Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) at Union National High School and Union Elementary School as part of our continuous efforts to strengthen disaster preparedness in the community.

The activity was carried out in coordination with the Philippine National Police (PNP) – Dapa and the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) – Dapa, who assisted in guiding students, teachers, and school personnel in practicing the proper earthquake safety procedure — Drop, Cover, and Hold — and in understanding the importance of staying calm and alert during emergencies.

We would like to thank the administration, faculty, and students of Union National High School and Union Elementary School for their cooperation and active participation. We also extend our appreciation to PNP Dapa and BFP Dapa for their continued support in promoting disaster awareness and preparedness.

Through activities like this, MDRRMO Dapa remains committed to building a safer, more prepared, and more resilient community.

𝗟𝗢𝗖𝗔𝗟 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | DAPA NAGPALIG-ON SA KAHANDUMAN SA BARANGAY BATOK SA KALAMIDAD

𝘋𝘈𝘗𝘈, 𝘚𝘪𝘢𝘳𝘨𝘢𝘰 𝘐𝘴𝘭𝘢𝘯𝘥—Nagpadayon ang paningkamot sa lokal nga panggamhanan sa pagpalig-on sa disaster preparedness pinaagi sa pagpahigayon sa Workshop ug Finalization sa Barangay Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan (BDRRMP) nga gipangunahan sa Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO).

Gitambongan kini sa mga kapitan ug barangay opisyales gikan sa tanang barangay sa lungsod.

Ang kalihokan nagtumong sa pagrepaso, pag-update, ug pagpalig-on sa kasamtangang disaster plans aronmasiguro nga ang matag barangay adunay klaro ug organisadong pamaagi sa pag-atubang sa mgaemerhensiya ug natural nga katalagman.

Gipasiugda usab ang kahinungdanon sa maayong koordinasyon tali sa MDRRMO ug mga barangay aronmas paspas ug episyente ang pagresponde kon adunay insidente.
