The Committee on Agriculture conducted a joint committee hearing today August 28, 2026, 01:00 p.m., at the SP Conference Room, New Government Center, Dapitan City to discuss:
Committee Referral No. 255-2026 – Respectfully requesting the August Body for the passage of a resolution requesting Dr. Dionisio G. Alvindia, Director IV, Philippine Center for Postharvest Development and Mechanization (PhilMech) for the provision of Two (2) Units Four-Wheel Tractors (Tier III) complete with Front Loader, Disc Plow, and Rotavator for the City Government of Dapitan, intended to support the agricultural mechanization need of the farming communities in the City of Dapitan, with attached pertinent documents for perusal.
Committee Referral No. 256-2026 Respectfully requesting the August Body for the passage of a resolution authorizing the undersigned to sign and enter into the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) between the following parties relative to the Cattle Multiplier Farm Project under the Livestock Economic Enterprise Development Project 2026, to wit:
a. Department of Agriculture, through its Regional Office IX, herein represented by Vener L. Dilig, OIC – Regional Executive Director;
b. Local Government Unit of Dapitan City, herein represented by Hon. Evelyn T. Uy, City Mayor; and
c. Barcelona Primary Multiple Agriculture Cooperative, herein represented by Ms. Nieves A. Bacara, Chairperson
with attached pertinent documents for perusal.
