Sometimes, God allows us to feel pain, like it is the end of our struggles, but that pain is only a way to prepare your hearts to fully embrace the joy He has prepared. The darkness is not here to stay it is only here to prepare your heart to embrace the joy that is already on its way.

Behind every uncertain step are teachers who remind us that mistakes are part of learning and that we are capable of more than we believe. Beyond the lessons written on the board, they teach us to face tomorrow with courage, even when the future feels frightening.

Huwag kang matakot, dahil sa mundong hindi pa natin lubos na nauunawaan, may mga gurong handang gumabay, umalalay, at maniwala sa atin lalo na sa mga panahong tayo mismo ay nagdududa sa ating kakayahan.

Someday, we will leave these classrooms behind and take our own paths. But wherever life leads us, we will carry the lessons, courage, and kindness of the teachers who helped us believe that we could make it through.💐

This October 6, 2026, the DNHS SSLG, Faculty Club, and School Coordinating Council (SCC), together with the entire school community, once again filled the halls with the "Galing Daraga High" spirit as the annual School-based Teachers' Day celebration took place in honor of the people who continue to guide and shape the learners of Daraga National High School.

The celebration kicked off with a warm "Salubong" for our teachers, spearheaded by student clubs and organizations. Several initiatives were also organized especially for our educators' special day. These included the "Teachers' Café: Free Drinks and Pastries for Teachers", a Free Sketch Booth, photobooths, a harana, Free Beauty Care Services, Token-giving and so much more.

The school-based activity followed with a Holy Mass and the main program at noon. The program started with an opening prayer, the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, and heartfelt messages dedicated to our educators. The event then came alive with a series of student performances and tributes, featuring dance numbers, a musical play, and other presentations prepared especially for our teachers.

The teachers also took part in raffle draws, giving everyone a chance to take home exciting prizes. This also featured the Teacher Special Awards, recognizing and appreciating the wonderful personalities and contributions of our educators.

The celebration continued through the afternoon with classroom-based Teachers’ Day celebrations, where class presidents and officers prepared short programs, tributes, tokens, and gifts for their advisers and teachers.

More than the performances, prizes, food, and activities, Teacher’s Day was a reminder of how much our educators mean to us. Their patience, bravery, dedication, and compassion continue to inspire us to discover who we truly are, recognize what we are capable of, and become the best versions of ourselves.

𝙒𝙝𝙚𝙣 𝙡𝙞𝙛𝙚 𝙛𝙚𝙚𝙡𝙨 𝙝𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙮, 𝙧𝙚𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩 𝙝𝙖𝙧𝙙𝙨𝙝𝙞𝙥 𝙞𝙨 𝙣𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙞𝙧𝙚𝙩𝙮 𝙤𝙛 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙨𝙩𝙤𝙧𝙮.

There are times in our lives when we feel overwhelmed, drained, and worn down, as if our burdens will always feel this heavy. But the Qur’an reminds us that hardship is never without hope.

𝗤𝘂𝗿'𝗮𝗻: 𝟵𝟰:𝟱–𝟲

فَإِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا ۝٥
إِنَّ مَعَ الْعُسْرِ يُسْرًا ۝٦

“𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗱, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲. 𝗜𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗲𝗱, 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲.”

We may not see the ease right now, but that does not mean Allah has abandoned us in our time of need. He knows what we are experiencing, He knows what is in our hearts, and He knows the struggles we may not be able to put into words.

So, we continue to hold on to hope, place our trust in Allah, and keep moving forward through whatever we are facing.

Our trials are only a portion of our story. They do not define our entire journey. And just as the Qur’an reminds us, with hardship comes ease.

For those who come from different faiths, may this simply be a reminder to hold on to hope during difficult seasons. May we all find the strength to keep going, in our own way and through our own faith.
