This page aims to promote the famous Sili Waiting Shed of barangay Malabog. HISTORY

A landmark construction in the year 2002 as a lasting tribute to the daring best of Albayano (Eriberto N. Gonzales) who landed in the Guinness Book of Records (2001) edition, earning the title as first Sili King. Confirming the crown, he won against many other contestants upon eating in only three (3) minutes, fiv

e hundred fifty (550) pieces of sili or also known as demon pepper. The event was the first-ever sili eating contest, conceived by Albay Governor Al Francis C. Bichara in the year 2000 as among the special events of the annual Magayon Festival celebrated every May in the province of Albay, Philippines.
