Out of 58 barangays in the Municipality of Daram, 28 have successfully submitted their CBYDP, ABYIP, and SK Annual Budget for FY 2026! Most have been reviewed by the Sangguniang Bayan and declared operative. 🎉

That’s a good start—but we’re not done yet! The remaining barangays, this is your sign 👀—let’s complete those submissions and keep the momentum going!

Remember: no budget, no projects 👊 Let’s plan ahead, act on time, and deliver for the youth!

DARAM, SAMAR — Mayor Lou Astorga attended the 1st Commencement Exercises of Future Proof Learning Center Corp. and Future Organic Production and Agriculture Corp. held today, April 15, 2026, at the Daram Cultural Center. She personally awarded and congratulated the 110 TESDA graduates.

The graduates completed Computer Systems Servicing NC II and Landscaping Installation and Maintenance (Softscape) NC II under the Mobile Training Program and Training for Work Scholarship Program (TWSP) of TESDA.

The event was also attended by Sir Jonas Aclado from TESDA Samar Provincial Office, Sir Nathan Obie James Abinguna, who served as guest speaker, SK Federation President Mark Angelo Jay Cabanganan, Sir Erick Tarrayo of FPLCC, and Sir Gerardo Valeriano Jr. of FOPAC, together with the staff and trainers.

The ceremony marked the completion of more than one and a half months of training. All graduates achieved a 100% passing rate in their NC II Skills Assessment.

This event shows the strong support of the community in helping Daramnon learners gain skills for better job opportunities.

Today, the Municipality of Daram proudly honored Hon. Shiela Rose Arcilles Nedera, RCrim for her outstanding achievement as Top 3 in the February 2026 Criminologists Licensure Examination (92.45%)!

Mayor Dr. Lucia Latorre-Astorga awarded her cash incentive and certificate of recognition, while the Sangguniang Bayan, led by Vice Mayor Ryan Philip L. Astorga, passed a resolution commending her excellence. She was joined by her proud parents, Antonio and Criselda Nedera—a moment truly worth celebrating!

Astorga—unanimously passed Resolution No. 25 to 32, Series of 2026, commending and recognizing the athletes and coaches from the District of Daram II who proudly represented the municipality during the EVRAA Meet. The resolution was authored and introduced by SK Federation President and Ex-Officio SB Member Hon. Mark Angelo Jay B. Cabanganan, Chairman of the Committee on Youth and Sports Development.

This initiative was proudly coursed through the Daram Youth Development Office led by Sir Joemar A. Cafranca.
