GROWLING JAGUARS: 2ND PLACER IN ATHLETICS

The Growling Jaguars secured 2nd Place in Athletics at the recently concluded Seagull Athletics Meet 2026, earning an impressive 9 Gold, 15 Silver, and 6 Bronze medals.

The outstanding athletes will proudly represent Seafalcon Meet 2026, happening on August 29–30, 2026.

Badminton Team Shines at Seagull Daram I District Meet

The badminton team delivered a strong performance at the Seagull Daram I District Meet, with Ronel V. Fernandez and Mark Angelo Yazar winning Gold in Singles A and B, while Robert Ramirez and Jidel Yano secured Silver in Doubles.

In the girls’ division, Aziah Figueroa and Sophia L. Davines earned Bronze in Singles A and B, while Rishea Viel C. Dacoscos and Ma. Jovil C. Danday captured Silver in Doubles.

Under the guidance of Ma’am Frieah A. Plamenco, Fernandez and Yazar will represent the team at the upcoming Seafalcon Meet 2026..

Growling Jaguars Strike Gold in Billiards

GROWLING JAGUARS STRIKE GOLD IN BILLIARDS! 🎱🏆

Growling Jaguars athletes Michael Dave D. Goden and Reymark E. Paraiso captured gold in billiards. Goden topped the 9-Ball event, while Paraiso emerged champion in 8-Ball, under the coaching of Sir Bobby A. Comeque.

Meanwhile, Ma. Rose D. Verdejo and Jhonalyn A. Arraz earned Bronze Medals in the girls’ event, coached by Ma’am Madelyn G. Busalanan.

Goden and Paraiso will represent Seagull Daram I District in the upcoming Seafalcon Unit Meet, with Ma’am Busalanan serving as the selected coach for the Girls’ Billiards Team.

Growling Jaguars Chess Team Strikes Gold at Seagull District Meet 2026

The Growling Jaguars delivered a strong performance at the recently concluded Seagull District Meet 2026, earning multiple podium finishes in Chess under the coaching of Sir Rocky P. Margate.

Boys Standard Team — 1st Place: Jerson A. Marco and Jay C. Cañezares. In the individual event, Marco placed 1st, while Cañezares finished 2nd. The pair also secured 2nd Place in Boys Blitz Team, with Marco taking 3rd Place in Boys Blitz Individual.

In Girls Standard Team, Alexis Rianne B. Real and Frincess P. Bantasan secured 3rd Place.

The gold-winning boys’ team will represent the district at the upcoming Seafalcon Meet 2026 on August 29–30, 2026.🏆♟️

Bagacay NHS Joins Cluster Meet Try-Outs

Daram, Samar | August 8–9, 2026 — Bagacay National High School (BNHS) participated in the Cluster Meet Try-Outs for Boxing, Basketball, and Volleyball, held in Daram.

The event brought together athletes from Daram I and II, Talalora, Tarangnan, and Zumarraga, providing young athletes an opportunity to showcase their skills, sportsmanship, and determination.

Daram, Samar | August 8–9, 2026 — Bagacay National High School (NHS) proudly participated in the Cluster III Try-Outs for Boxing, Basketball, and Volleyball, bringing together talented athletes from five districts: Daram I & II, Tarangnan, Talalora, and Zumarraga. The event was proudly hosted by Daram II.
