ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON SEPTEMBER 4

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 134, alternative learning modes and learning continuity measures shall be implemented at all levels in public and private educational institutions in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on September 4, 2026, unless their respective Local Chief Executives direct the cancellation or suspension of classes:

The measure is in view of the anticipated continued heavy rainfall associated with the enhanced Southwest Monsoon (Habagat) and poor air quality in the NCR caused by haze from severe forest and peatland fires in Kalimantan and Sumatra, Indonesia.

Localized cancellation or suspension of classes in other areas may be implemented by their respective Local Chief Executives.

Inaanyayahan ang lahat ng residente ng Barangay Langkaan-2 na makiisa sa Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill (NSED) 2026 bilang paghahanda sa anumang maaaring mangyaring lindol.

Sa oras ng drill, tandaan ang DUCK, COVER, AND HOLD! 🦺

🔹 DUCK – Yumuko at protektahan ang sarili.
🔹 COVER – Magkubli sa ilalim ng matibay na mesa o ligtas na lugar at protektahan ang ulo.
🔹 HOLD – Kumapit nang maayos at manatili sa ligtas na posisyon hanggang matapos ang pagyanig.

🏠 Para sa bawat tahanan: Makilahok kasama ang buong pamilya.
🏫 Para sa mga paaralan at establisimyento: Isagawa ang earthquake drill ayon sa itinakdang safety protocols.
🏢 Para sa mga opisina at lugar ng trabaho: Siguraduhing alam ng lahat ang tamang evacuation procedures.

Ang earthquake drill ay hindi lamang isang pagsasanay! ito ay paghahanda upang maging mahinahon, maagap, at ligtas sa oras ng tunay na sakuna.
