OATH-TAKING CEREMONY OF THE CITY MAYOR AND CITY VICE MAYOR

Conducted last September 1, 2026, at the SP Session Hall of the Socio-Economic Building was the Oath-Taking Ceremony of City Mayor Elpidio A. Barzaga III and City Vice Mayor Teofilo Lara. Their oaths of office were formally administered by DILG Secretary Juanito Victor Remulla.

The ceremony was witnessed by Cavite Provincial Governor Francisco Gabriel Remulla, Congresswoman Jennifer Austria-Barzaga, members of the Sangguniang Panlungsod, as well as family, friends, and other distinguished guests. DILG Secretary Jonvic Remulla, Governor Abeng Remulla and Congresswoman Jenny Austria-Barzaga also delivered a message of congratulations and encouragement to the newly sworn-in city officials as they assume their respective responsibilities in serving the people of Dasmariñas.

Ginanap noong Setyembre 01, 2026, sa SP Session Hall ng Socio-Economic Building ang isang Misa ng Pasasalamat para sa panunumpa sa tungkulin ng bagong talaga na si Mayor Third Barzaga ay Vice Mayor Rudy Lara . Ang banal na misa ay pinangunahan nina Rev. Fr. Herald Mart Arenal at Rev. Fr. Rogie Mark Guazon.

Dinaluhan ito nina Governer Abeng Remulla, Congresswoman Jenny Austria-Barzaga, Mayor Third Barzaga, Vice Mayor Rudy Lara, Sangguniang Panlungsod Members, City Department Heads at ilan sa ating mga Punong Barangay. Naroroon din ang ilan sa kanilang mga pamilya at kaibigan.

Ginanap ngayong araw, Septyembre 01, 2026, sa Socio-Economic Grounds ang regular flag raising ceremony na dinaluhan nina Mayor Third Barzaga, Vice Mayor Rudy Lara at mga miyembro ng Sangguniang Panlungsod. Pinangunahan ng City Agriculture Office ang seremonya.

Nagbahagi rin ng birthday cakes para sa mga empleyado na magdiriwang ng kanilang mga kaarawan sa linggong ito.

CANVASS AND PROCLAMATION FOR MEMBER, HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES, FOURTH LEGISLATIVE DISTRICT, PROVINCE OF CAVITE

The Special Election 2026 for the Member of the House of Representatives, Fourth Legislative District of Cavite, was successfully conducted on August 29, 2026, at the City of Dasmariñas Arena.

According to the official results of the completed canvassing by the District Board of Canvassers, as recorded by the Commission on Elections (COMELEC), Hon. Jennifer Austria-Barzaga garnered a total of 201,893 votes, the highest number of votes recorded in the election. The result reflects the trust and confidence of the people in the representative they have chosen.

Warmest congratulations to Congresswoman Jennifer Austria-Barzaga, as she takes on her new role as a Member of the House of Representatives for the Fourth Legislative District of Cavite.

Batay sa opisyal na tala ng Board of Canvassers, nakakuha si Hon. Jennifer Austria-Barzaga ng kabuuang 201,893 votes, na sumasalamin sa patuloy na pagtitiwala at suporta ng mga Dasmarineño sa kanyang tapat, subok, at maaasahang serbisyo publiko.

Muli, isang mainit na pagbati sa ating bagong halal na Kinatawan ng Fourth Legislative District ng Cavite, Congresswoman Jennifer Austria-Barzaga.

The Sweet 16 match of the Inter-Barangay Basketball Tournament 2026 – Seniors Division was successfully held last August 26, 2026, at Brgy. Fatima 1 Covered Court. The match featured Barangay Paliparan 2 and Barangay Sampaloc 2 in an exciting basketball action.

Barangay Sampaloc 2 secured the victory over Barangay Paliparan 2 with a final score of 90-83.

Barangay Salitran 2 secured the victory over Barangay Sampaloc 4 with a final score of 66-62.
