Project COMMpass holds Campus Journalism Training-Workshop ahead DSPC 2026

Members of the National University Dasmariñas’ Communication Department (KomDep), together with NUD Communication Society, and The NUntium, conducted the Byline: Campus Journalism Training Workshop under the Project COMMpass for the student journalists from Francisco Osorio Integrated Senior High School (FOISHS) and Trece Martires City Senior High School (TMCSHS) earlier today, August 15, 2026.

In partnership with the NUD Community Extension Office, Project COMMpass aims to gear up and equip the students with their foundational skills and give them hands on guidance ahead of their upcoming Division Schools Press Conference (DSPC) competition to be held this September.

Yesterday, August 12, 2026, a successful Bloodletting Activity was conducted in partnership with the Metro Manila Center For Health Development - Philippine Blood Center (MMCHD-PBC), bringing together generous donors and volunteers in support of a healthier and more compassionate community.

Organized by the Health Services Office, in collaboration with the Community Extensions Office, the initiative promotes voluntary blood donation while fostering compassion, volunteerism, and social responsibility among students, employees, alumni, and stakeholders.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to every Nationalian who participated and contributed to the success of this meaningful initiative. Every drop counts, and every act of kindness makes a difference. 💙💛

The NU Dasmariñas National Service Training Program Office is honored to welcome Cherylee Maño, LPT, CLDP®, MM, Focal Person for the Museum Volunteer Program of the National Museum of the Philippines, as our Keynote Speaker for the 5th NSTP-CWTS Completion Ceremony.

With the theme “Resilience in Action: Sustainable Commitment to Strengthened Communities,” we look forward to an inspiring message that will encourage our NSTP completers to carry the spirit of volunteerism, civic responsibility, and service beyond their NSTP journey.

ATTENTION: ALL ALTERNATIVE LEARNING SYSTEM- SENIOR HIGH SCHOOL (ALS-SHS) LEARNER APPLICANTS

NU Dasmariñas is NOW ACCEPTING application pre-registrations for the ALS–SHS Program for Academic Year 2026–2027.
This initiative is led by the Senior High School Department, in partnership with the City Schools Division of Dasmariñas-ALS, and carried out through collaboration with the Office of Community Extension under the S.A.L.I.K.S.I.C. Program (Sustainable Alternative Learning Initiative for Knowledge, Skills, and Inclusivity in the Community).

IMPORTANT ADMISSIONS REMINDER
• No on-site/walk-in enrollment will be entertained during the initial stage.
• All applicants must first complete the online pre-registration.
• On-site submission and enrollment will be strictly by schedule, following your initial application evaluation and interview.
