Production of vermicompost is one of the organic fertilizers produced in our station.
Vermicomposting using vermiworms or african night crawler is one of the best composts based on trials and reasearch treatments. It's easy to manage and produce.
In our station, collection of composting materials and shredding were done 1-2times a week except during rainy days. Daily maintenance of the vermibed like watering was undertaken. Harvesting is done every 2months. Its really a worthwhile endeavor, producing our own organic fertilizer.
