On our recent regular meeting, the Sangguniang Kabataan Municipal Federation of Datu Paglas successfully finalized the plans for the upcoming ABYIP, CBYDP, and the SK Transparency and Full Disclosure Board Updating Workshop. 💼📝

We also laid down exciting plans for the much-awaited Linggo ng Kabataan 2025 — a week full of meaningful engagement, empowerment, and unity for the youth of Datu Paglas! 💪🇵🇭

The Municipality of Datu Paglas, Maguindanao del Sur, is celebrating its recent achievement, securing the 2nd spot in the Economic Dynamism category for 3rd-4th Class municipalities in the 2023 CMCI for the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM).

As Datu Paglas continues to stand out in regional competitiveness, it serves as a model for effective governance and community collaboration, showcasing the positive impact of local initiatives on economic progress within the BARMM region.

IN PHOTOS | SK Federation Officials 1st Meeting Session

The first meeting session took place at the LYDC Office in the Municipal Hall of Datu Paglas, Maguindanao Del Sur, last January 07, 2024.

Together with the Local Youth Development Official, Ma'am Jammie M. Ramilo, initial plans for the federation were laid out, namely the training for the formulation of the Annual Barangay Youth Investment Program (ABYIP) for the SK Chairpersons, the reelection of LYDC members, and the proposed tangibles needed for the LYDC building.

The importance of youth profiling for each barangay was also brought up and is expected to be completed in the first quarter of the year. Project proposals presented during the meeting were also considered and are still for further discussion.
