Davao City Police Office (DCPO) is committed to serving with utmost sincerity and dedication to ensure the safety and security of the city.
Under the command of PCOL HANSEL M MARANTAN, Acting City Director, the DCPO continues its relentless efforts to combat the scourge of illegal drugs and bring the individuals involved to justice for the protection of all. With the full support of the active community, which consistently provides information about individuals involved in illegal drugs, the DCPO team successfully conducted the following operations within just 24 hours, achieving positive results:
Three (3) Anti-Illegal Drug Operations were carried out by the following Police Stations and City Drug Enforcement Unit of DCPO, resulting in the apprehension of Three (3) drug personalities and the confiscation of shabu worth Php 78,934.40 at standard value price:
• PS20-Los-Amigos confiscated Shabu with an estimated SDP of Php 1,550.40.
• City Drug Enforcement Unit confiscated Shabu with an estimated SDP of Php 77,384.00.
DCPO acknowledges and appreciates the support of the Barangay Officials, the community, and the Local Government Unit in joining this campaign. Illegal drugs are a significant factor contributing to crime in various areas. Thus, DCPO team will not cease conducting operations against illegal drugs to provide a safer place for all Dabawenyos.
