𝐀𝐃𝐕𝐈𝐒𝐎𝐑𝐘 | The Department of Agriculture – Regional Field Office XI (DA-RFO XI) has received numerous reports from various establishments and private companies regarding individuals falsely claiming to represent Regional Executive Director Macario D. Gonzaga. Some of these incidents have reportedly involved attempted extortion.

Please be advised that RED Gonzaga does not know nor has any official association with a certain individual identifying himself as “Engr. Mark Flores." Likewise, RED Gonzaga has never authorized or instructed anyone to gather information or contact establishments and companies on his behalf.

We urge the public to remain vigilant. Do not disclose information or entertain suspicious requests from individuals claiming to represent RED Gonzaga or DA-RFO XI. Verify any communication through the official channels of DA-RFO XI and report any suspicious activity to the proper authorities.

The Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office XI, through its Regulatory Division, conducted the inspection of animal feeds establishments in accordance with Republic Act No. 1556, otherwise known as the "Livestock and Poultry Feeds Act”.

The inspection aims to ensure compliance with existing laws and regulatory standards governing the manufacture, storage, distribution, and sale of animal feeds.

Through regular monitoring and inspection, the Department remains committed to safeguarding animal health, supporting the livestock and poultry industry, and protecting the interests of farmers and consumers.

Together, we continue to uphold quality, safety, and responsible livestock and poultry production for a more resilient agricultural sector.

The Monitoring of Certified Core Participatory Guarantee System (PGS) Group Farmer-Members of the Libudon Organic Farmers Association in Mati City, Davao Oriental was successfully conducted by the Bureau of Agriculture and Fisheries Standards (BAFS) and Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office XI – Regulatory Division.

The activity aimed to verify the continued compliance of the certified core PGS group farmer-members with the relevant Philippine National Standards (PNS) and Technical Regulations governing Organic Agriculture.
