"R-PSB MARILOG INSTALLED MORE SOLAR LIGHTS & DISTRIBUTED HYGIENE KITS, MEDICAL SUPPLIES, PRE-LOVED CLOTHES & FOOD PACKS TO 100 IP BENEFICIARIES"
On January 23, 2022, the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB) 11 Revitalized-Pulis Sa Barangay (R-PSB) Team Marilog Sub-Cluster 1 has significantly made a series of noble deeds for the welfare of Indigenous People in Marilog District, Davao City.
As part of the mandate of R-PSB in prioritizing IPs in Geographically Isolated and Disadvantaged Areas (GIDAs); and to make them primary beneficiaries of government programs and services, the Team maximized its personnel to successfully conduct said activities.
At 8:00 AM of said date, PLT JOSEPH MIGUEL D CRISOLOGO, Team Leader of Sub-Cluster 1, R-PSB Marilog has successfully installed five (5) solar-powered streetlights at Sitio Sisiman, Barangay Baganihan, Marilog District, Davao City in which thirty-five (35) households benefited the said "Pailaw" which is in line with the "IP Community Light" project. The activity was participated by Mr. Ernesto Ogipad, Sitio Leader.
At 10:00 of same date, the Team also successfully distributed pre-loved clothes to more or less fifty (50) IP residents of Sitio Tribal Village, Barangay Baganihan, Marilog District, Davao City. Such delivery of basic services to the residents has gained support and confidence in sustaining peace and order within the IP community.
At 11:00 AM of same date, the Team distributed 10 food packs containing 5 kilos of rice, 4 cans of sardines, 4 cans of corned beef, and 10 sachets of coffee to the IPs at Sitio New Lajog, Barangay Marilog Proper, Marilog District, Davao City.
While at 1:00 PM on the same date, the Team also conducted Community Outreach Program wherein 100 hygiene kits and 100 medical supplies were successfully distributed to IPs at Sitio Sisiman, Barangay Baganihan, Marilog District, Davao City. The activity was humbly witnessed by Hon Arnold Angit, Punong Barangay.
All of these activities are the commitments of R-PSB towards the community development of Marilog.
