𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐏-𝐓𝐖𝐆, 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝

𝐂𝐋𝐔𝐏-𝐓𝐖𝐆, 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐩 𝐜𝐫𝐞𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝

In a bid to ensure a thorough and reliable revised City Land Use Plan (CLUP), the City Government of Davao created and constituted a CLUP technical working group (TWG) and planning core group through Executive Order No. 24, Series of 2026.

The Planning Core Group shall act as the lead committee that will oversee and coordinate all technical and administrative activities for the preparation of the CLUP. It shall also draft and consolidate, and facilitate the preparation of the CLUP to the Local Development Council for endorsement to the Sangguniang Panlungsod.

The group shall be composed of members from the City Administrator's Office, City Planning and Development Office, City Planning and Development Office - Zoning Enforcement Division, City Environment and Natural Resources Office, City Legal Office, and Business Bureau.

Meanwhile, the CLUP-TWG shall be composed of offices under the Social Sector, Economic Sector, Infrastructure Sector, Environment Sector, Institutional Sector, Forest Sector, Coastal and Marine Resources Sector, Urban Design and Development Sector, Ancestral Domain and Cultural Heritage Sector, Climate and Disaster Risk Assessment - Technical Working Group Sector.

The group must prepare, review, finalize, legitimize, and approve of the CLUP following the principles of participatory decision-making, accountability, and transparency must be done by the CLUP-TWG.

They must also conduct sectoral and intersectoral analysis and validation of reports. They must also conduct surveys, consultations, meetings, and workshops; as well as identify and assess the hazards and other necessary information, and incorporate them into the plan.

The City Planning and Development Office shall serve as the lead office responsible for the completion and legitimization of the CLUP. It shall also serve as the secretariat and provide technical and secretarial services, and be responsible for facilitating the conduct of workshops and activities.
