Dakong kalipay ang gibati sa atong mga pinangga nga mga Senior Citizens sa atong lungsod nga nahatagan og financial aid kagahapong adlawa, Oktubre 13, 2026, nga gipahigayon sa Mayor's Conference Room, Montevista, Davao de Oro.

Kini nga programa gikan sa National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) pinaagi sa koordinasyon sa LGU Montevista ubos sa pagdumala ni Mayor Cyrex Labrador Basalo. Kabahin kini sa Payout o cash gift distribution alang sa mga Senior Citizens nga nag-edad og 80, 85, 90, 95, ug 100 anyos.

Personal kining gitunol ni Mr. John Ritrex G. Juanich, PDO III gikan sa NCSC, inubanan nila Mr. Rafael B. Miguel, MPA (OSCA Head) ug Hon. Angelito E. Bolivar (MOFESCA President). Mitambong usab sa maong kalihukan sila Hon. Lunita N. Jayectin, RPh, Sangguniang Bayan Member, ug si Mr. Robert D. Caro, Acting Focal on Elderly Welfare Program.

Padayon ang LGU Montevista sa pag-atiman ug paghatag og importansya sa atong mga Senior Citizen.

👵👴 BRINGING GOVERNMENT SERVICES CLOSER TO OUR SENIOR CITIZENS! 💙

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Davao del Sur Provincial Office joined the National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) Region XI on October 13, 2026, in the Cash Gift Distribution under the Expanded Centenarians Act (ECA) Program.

As part of its commitment to inclusive digital transformation, DICT DavSur provided support through an eGovPH Registration and Service Desk, assisting senior citizens with registration and highlighting the availability of their digital Senior Citizen ID for easier access to digital government services.

The activity served beneficiaries from the following local government units:

📍 Digos City – 27 grantees
📍 Padada – 33 grantees
📍 Sulop – 34 grantees

🤝 This collaboration demonstrates the importance of bringing government programs and services directly to our senior citizens, particularly those who may face challenges due to age, mobility, or financial limitations.

Through strengthened partnerships and digital initiatives, DICT DavSur continues to support efforts toward making government services more accessible, inclusive, and convenient for every Filipino, especially our beloved senior citizens who deserve care, respect, and continued support.

Malipayon nga nakadawat og tag-P10,000 nga cash gift ang 29 ka mga senior citizen nga benepisyaryo sa bag-ong programa sa National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) karong adlawa, Oktubre 12, 2026.
Ang maong ayuda gihatag ubos sa Republic Act No. 11982, nga nailhan usab isip Expanded Centenarians Act of 2024. Kini nga balaod nag-amendar sa Centenarians Act of 2016 aron mahatagan og cash gift ug sulat sa pagpangumusta ug pagpasidungog (letter of felicitation) ang mga kwalipikadong senior citizen sa ilang pag-abot sa mga milestone nga edad nga 80, 85, 90, ug 95 anyos.

Ubos sa maong programa, ang matag kwalipikadong benepisyaryo makadawat og P10,000 nga cash gift isip pag-ila ug pagpasidungog sa ilang kinabuhi ug kontribusyon sa pamilya, komunidad, ug katilingban.
Ang pagpatuman sa maong programa gipangulohan sa National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) Region XI, ubos sa pagpangulo ni Regional Director Cesar A. Adegue IV, nga girepresentahan ni Area Coordinator John Ritrex Juanich, inubanan sa lokal nga panggamhanan sa Lungsod sa Maragusan.

Pinaagi sa maong programa, gipadayag ang padayong paningkamot sa gobyerno sa paghatag og pagtagad, pag-ila, ug suporta sa mga senior citizen, ilabi na sa mga nakaabot sa mahinungdanong yugto sa ilang kinabuhi.

Ang maong inisyatiba nagpakita usab sa kamahinungdanon sa panag-alayon sa nasudnong ahensiya ug lokal nga panggamhanan aron masiguro nga ang mga kwalipikadong senior citizen makadawat sa mga benepisyo nga gitagana alang kanila ubos sa balaod.

From DICT Region 11 | DICT Region XI Brings eGovPH App Closer to Davao City Senior Citizens
The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) Region XI joins the National Commission of Senior Citizens (NCSC) and City Government of Davao and other partner agencies in supporting the Expanded Centenarians Act (Republic Act No. 11982) payout for qualified senior citizens across the city’s three districts on October 8, 2026:

📍 District 1: People’s Park
📍 District 2: Buhangin Gym
📍 District 3: Toril Proper Gym

As one of the agency partners, DICT Region XI was invited to provide technical assistance and facilitate an eGovPH App booth, helping senior citizens and their families become more familiar with the government’s digital services and access the eGovPH App.

Through initiatives like this, DICT continues to promote digital inclusion and digital empowerment, making technology more accessible to Filipinos of all ages.

Serbisyo para sa senior citizens. Digital access for every Filipino dahil walang iwanan sa Digital Bayanihan!

NCSC Region XI Promotes Active Ageing Through Pickleball Plus 60 Tournament

DAVAO CITY — Senior citizens aged 60 to 83 took to the court during the NCSC Region XI Pickleball Plus 60 Tournament at Arena Athletics, Matina Crossing, Davao City, in celebration of Elderly Filipino Week 2026.

Adding to the fun, participants came in colorful 1980s-inspired outfits, while Wallace Minn-Gan Chow, Representative of the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) in the Philippines, briefly joined the players on court and engaged with Regional Director Cesar A. Adegue IV, PhD, CESE, and Commissioner Ida Yap-Patron, EdD, PhD on initiatives promoting active ageing.

The activity was made possible through the support of CitySavings Bank, Barbeque Boss, Villa Amparo Garden Beach Resort, Monolithic Construction & Concrete Products Inc., DC Maharlika Lions Club District 301-E, Brgy. Matina Crossing, and Brgy. Maa.

Through sports and strong community partnerships, NCSC Region XI continues to promote healthy, active, and socially connected ageing among older persons.
