Last night, the BDRRMC-Mintal personnel conducted a flashing operation at Mintal Public Market upon the request of the Mintal Public Market Administration in support of the preparations for its 30th Founding Anniversary Celebration on August 8, 2026.

The operation was carried out to provide a visible public safety presence, assist in maintaining peace and order, and promote awareness among motorists, vendors, and the public during the event preparations.

The activity was successfully completed without any untoward incidents, and the team remained on standby to provide assistance as needed throughout the operation.

Yesterday evening, the BDRRMC-Mintal Crew responded to a reported trauma emergency involving a 9-year-old female in front of Mintal Elementary School, Mintal, Davao City.

According to the patient, she was on her way home and attempted to board a passing Public Utility Jeepney (PUJ). However, the driver did not notice her attempting to board and continued driving, causing the patient to lose her balance and fall to the ground.

Upon arrival, the crew conducted an initial assessment, provided the necessary first aid and pre-hospital emergency care, continuously monitored the patient's condition, and safely transported the patient to Southern Philippines Medical Center (SPMC) for further evaluation and treatment.

According to the patient, she was participating in a taekwondo training session and had just completed kick pad drills. During a scheduled water break, she suddenly experienced chest pain radiating to her left upper extremity, prompting an immediate request for emergency medical assistance.
