The 𝗗𝗢𝗦𝗧-𝗣𝗖𝗔𝗔𝗥𝗥𝗗 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼) 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 – 𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝟭, successfully brought together 𝘁𝘄𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘆 (𝟮𝟬) 𝘀𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀 from the 𝗣𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗛𝗶𝗴𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 (𝗣𝗦𝗛𝗦) 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗴𝗮 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀, 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗦𝗢𝗖𝗖𝗦𝗞𝗦𝗔𝗥𝗚𝗘𝗡 𝗥𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 for a transformative three-week journey of learning, discovery, and innovation from 𝗝𝘂𝗻𝗲 𝟮𝟮 𝘁𝗼 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝟭𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲.
From the 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗖𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗻𝘆 and 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗺𝘂𝗻𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝗹𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀 (𝗖𝗢𝗘𝗟𝘀) 𝗟𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, to immersive𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 (𝗥&𝗗) 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲𝘀, intensive 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, 𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, and the culminating 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗮𝗹 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗶𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴, DPYSP Mindanao Batch 1 embraced every opportunity to learn, collaborate, and develop research-driven solutions addressing real-world challenges in the 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 (𝗔𝗔𝗡𝗥) 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿.
Beyond the lectures, field immersions, and research activities, the program fostered meaningful friendships across campuses, strengthened leadership and communication skills, and inspired participants to see science, technology, and innovation as powerful tools for creating positive changes in their communities. Guided by dedicated mentors (COELs), the distinguished pool of experts provided by the 𝗦𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗰𝘂𝗹𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲, 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗰𝗲𝘀 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗗𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗹𝗼𝗽𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗶𝘂𝗺 SMAARRDEC, and partner institutions, the scholars grew not only as young researchers but also as future leaders committed to serving the nation through science.
This video celebrates the remarkable journey of DPYSP Mindanao Batch 1—a journey marked by curiosity, collaboration, resilience, and innovation. As one chapter comes to a close, it also marks the beginning of a lifelong commitment to scientific excellence, research, and service for a more sustainable and innovative Philippines.
