๐ GET TO KNOW: SWIFTWATER RESCUE TRAINING
Swiftwater Rescue Training is a relevant specialized training for responders who may be called upon during flooding and other water-related emergencies. Floodwaters can become unpredictable and hazardous due to strong currents, rapidly changing water levels, debris, and other environmental hazards.
Proper training equips responders with the knowledge and skills to assess water-related risks, apply appropriate rescue techniques, and conduct operations while prioritizing the safety of both rescuers and victims.
Through continuous training, knowledge-sharing, and hands-on skills development, the BFP continues to strengthen the operational readiness and water rescue capabilities of its personnelโhelping build a more prepared and capable response to flooding and water-related emergencies.
