SHAPING THE LEARNING GROUND WITH FAITH

Bernardino B. Bosque National High School continues to foster an inclusive and respectful community where students from diverse religious backgrounds—including Catholicism, Christianity, Iglesia ni Cristo (INC), Jehovah's Witnesses, and Islam—are encouraged to practice and celebrate their faith while promoting mutual respect and understanding.

As part of this commitment, Catholic students, together with teachers, school personnel, and other stakeholders, gathered for the Second Monthly Mass sponsored by the Grade 12 Curriculum to seek God's guidance, wisdom, and protection throughout their academic journey, praying for His continued presence as they learn, grow, and serve within the school community.

The Holy Mass was celebrated by St. James Apostolic Parish on July 21, 2026, at Bernardino B. Bosque National High School. The Eucharistic Celebration was officiated by Rev. Fr. Edzel J. Paloma, DCD, with the assistance of the altar servers and the Lourdes ministry.

May this celebration continue to inspire every member of the BBBNHS community to uphold faith, compassion, and unity in building a nurturing and values-driven learning environment.

DAVAO CITY - Bernardino B. Bosque National High School renewed its partnership with Holcim Philippines, Inc. during a Ceremonial MOA Signing on July 22, 2026, at the Holcim Davao Plant. Through the Tulong Aral Program and the Holcim Davao Supervisory Independent Union (HDSIU), the company pledged continued scholarship support for BBBNHS students for School Year 2026–2027.

The school delegation was led by School Principal Sir Raymon R. Abanto, Assistant to the Principal Ma'am Consuelo C. Sevilla and SSLG Adviser Mr. Ryan Vincent A. Bumagat. During the ceremony, five student scholars were recognized: Samantha E. Bernales, Nechelle H. Ayento, Ian Pix A. Onde, Rhanna Jhoy Samodal and Jeriell D. Lubiano, who was honored as the Most Promising Scholar for outstanding academic performance and active leadership. Along with their scholarship awards, all five students received a three-month scholarship allowance, school bags, water tumblers, and lunch boxes.

Expressing his heartfelt gratitude to Holcim Inc. and CSR Manager Renida May M. Bunawan, Davao City — Bernardino B. Bosque National High School convened its Student Handbook Review Committee as part of the development of the Second Edition of the Student Handbook, reinforcing the school's commitment to a safe, orderly and learner-centered environment.

The meeting was spearheaded by School Principal Raymon Abanto and Assistant to the Principal Consuelo Sevilla, with the participation of Barangay Bunawan Administrator Esmeraldo Suarez, PTA President Annabelle Lugatiman, SGC Elected Chairperson John Rex Bejel, Faculty President Florelyn P***n, SSLG President Earl Jasper Montil; SGC Co-Chair Lea Salvacion, Guidance Advocate Carren Agol, Learner Formation Officer Renato Ferrer and Head Teachers Ryan Vincent Bumagat, Adino Baguhin, and Marry Ann Jenisan.

The committee discussed the salient provisions of DepEd Order No. 006, s. 2026, "Guidelines on Ensuring a Safe and Motivating Learning Environment," to ensure that the revised handbook aligns with current DepEd policies and addresses emerging concerns affecting learners.

The Cluster 12 Principal-in-Charge Nick Jamisola also attended the meeting and emphasized the importance of an updated Student Handbook that serves as the school's guide in addressing student concerns and promoting fairness, discipline, and learner protection. The committee likewise acknowledged the need to strengthen school policies in light of recent student-related incidents reported in various schools nationwide.

A follow-up meeting will be conducted to finalize the revisions before the Second Edition of the BBBNHS Student Handbook is endorsed for implementation.
