[𝗔𝗗𝗩𝗜𝗦𝗢𝗥𝗬] Resumption of Regular Dress Code and School Uniform Policy

Following the improvement in weather conditions following the extreme heat index that prompted the temporary adjustment of the University's dress requirements, the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) RESUMES the implementation of the prescribed attire for personnel and the mandatory wearing of school uniforms for students.

𝗘𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝘂𝗴𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝟯, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲
> University Personnel: Resumption of the prescribed attire in accordance with the University's Interim Guidelines on Prescribed Attire.

[𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞] Freshies begin USeP journey through Onboarding Week 2026

Thousands of first-year and transferee students, together with their parents and guardians, officially began their University journey as the University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP) opened its Freshies Onboarding Week 2026 on July 27, 2026 at the University Gymnasium and Cultural Center, Obrero Campus.

Organized by the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS) in coordination with the University's concerned delivery units, the orientation served as the official welcome for incoming students and their families. The program introduced participants to the University's academic programs, student support services, policies, facilities, and offices that will guide and assist them throughout their stay at USeP.

Welcoming the University's newest Agilas, University President Dr. Bonifacio G. Gabales, Jr. reminded students that earning a place in the University is both a privilege and an achievement.

"Out of almost 10,000 applicants, you are among the few who earned a place in this University," he said, emphasizing that while many aspired to study at USeP, the University admits only the number of students it can effectively support to preserve the quality of education and learning experience.

President Gabales also urged the students to make full use of the onboarding program by familiarizing themselves with the University's offices, facilities, policies, and student organizations, while building meaningful friendships and actively engaging in campus life.

More importantly, he reminded the freshies of the responsibility that comes with becoming Iskolar ng Bayan.

"Your education is not only for yourselves but also for the nation. Honor that trust through discipline and excellence. Let your knowledge become a source of solutions for communities. Let your talents uplift others. Let your character speak as loudly as your achievements," he said.

The Onboarding Week will continue until July 31, featuring a series of activities designed to help students transition into University life, including campus tours, acquaintance activities, and orientation sessions.

Parallel onboarding programs are also being conducted across USeP's other campuses to ensure that incoming students receive the same warm welcome and guidance as they begin their academic journey.

As the University's newest Agilas embark on this new chapter, USeP welcomes them into a community committed to excellence, service, and lifelong learning.

The University of Southeastern Philippines (USeP), through the Office of Student Affairs and Services (OSAS), successfully conducted the release of the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) One-time Tulong Dunong Program for State Universities and Colleges (TDP-SUC) financial assistance for the 1st Semester, School Year 2025 2026 for the Obrero Campus and Malabog Extension Campus grantees.

Qualified student-grantees received their one-time financial grant of 7,500.00 in cash. This initiative aims to help ease their financial burden particularly for educational expenses. Likewise, the grant enables them to continue pursuing their academic aspirations with greater confidence.

The aforementioned grant forms part of the continuing commitment of CHED, UniFAST, and USeP in providing accessible and inclusive opportunities for deserving Filipino students.

It is hoped that through this financial assistance our scholars will be inspired to persevere, excel in their studies, and continue striving toward attaining a brighter future.
