MCSSP Teams Enhance Livelihood Skills Ahead of Community Deployment

Monkayo, Davao de Oro – Personnel to be deployed for the 2nd Batch of the Municipal Community Support Sustainment Program (MCSSP) enhanced their knowledge and practical skills through a Refresher Cross-Training with Livelihood Training conducted by the 25th Infantry (Fireball) Battalion. The activity includee personnel from the 25IB and the Davao de Oro Police Provincial Office (DDOPPO) as part of their pre-deployment training, ensuring their readiness to effectively carry out community support missions.

The training aimed to equip MCSSP teams with practical livelihood skills that they can share with communities during their deployment. By strengthening their understanding of livelihood development, participants are better prepared to work with local government units, partner agencies, and community in promoting self-reliance and supporting programs that improve the quality of life. MCSSP Teams are expected to work closely with local government units, partner agencies, and community members in promoting livelihood opportunities, supporting local initiatives, and encouraging self-reliance.

25IB Gives Heroes' Welcome to Fireball Troopers After Agila Patrol Challenge 2026

Monkayo, Davao de Oro – The 25th Infantry (Fireball) Battalion, 10th Infantry (Agila) Division, Philippine Army warmly welcomed home its male and female contingents following their participation in the Agila Patrol Challenge 2026, held from 26 July to 01 August 2026. More than a ceremonial reception, the Heroes' Welcome was a heartfelt tribute to the courage, determination, and sacrifices of the Fireball troopers who proudly carried the Battalion's colors throughout one of the Division's most demanding military competitions.

For seven days, the contingents pushed beyond their physical and mental limits, overcoming rigorous tests that demanded endurance, teamwork, discipline, and sound leadership. Every obstacle they faced and every kilometer they covered reflected countless hours of preparation and an unwavering commitment to becoming better soldiers. While the competition sought to identify the best patrol, the Battalion recognizes that every Fireball trooper who accepted the challenge returned home stronger, more capable, and richer in experience, bringing with them lessons that will further strengthen the unit's operational readiness.

As the contingents arrived at Headquarters, they were greeted with warm applause of their fellow Fireball soldiers, a reminder that true victory is measured not only by awards but by the courage to answer the call, the resilience to endure every challenge, and the honor of serving with pride. The 25th Infantry Battalion is steadfast in cultivating soldiers who embody excellence, selfless service, and unwavering dedication in fulfilling the mission of protecting the people and securing the land.

25TH INFANTRY BATTALION PARTICIPATES IN TWO-DAY DISASTER PREPAREDNESS SUMMIT IN PANTUKAN

PANTUKAN, Davao de Oro– The 25th Infantry (Fireball) Battalion, Philippine Army, participated in the Two-Day Disaster Preparedness Summit and Static Display conducted by the Local Government Unit of Pantukan. The activity gathered various national government agencies to showcase their respective disaster preparedness and emergency response capabilities, reinforcing inter-agency coordination and promoting a whole-of-government approach to disaster risk reduction and management.

The Battalion showcased its Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Response (HADR) equipment, communication assets, firepower capabilities, and military vehicle, demonstrating its operational readiness to support civil authorities during emergencies and calamities. The display emphasized the Philippine Army's capability to augment local government units in search and rescue, emergency communications, humanitarian assistance, and disaster response operations whenever directed.

The summit was attended by elementary, high school, and college students from various educational institutions in Pantukan, as well as barangay functionaries, providing them with greater awareness of disaster preparedness and the vital role of government agencies in building resilient communities. Through its participation, the 25th Infantry Battalion strethen its commitment to serving the people by remaining a dependable partner of the LGU and other stakeholders in safeguarding lives, protecting communities, and strengthening disaster resilience.

10TH STATION HOSPITAL CONDUCTS INFLUENZA VACCINATION TO STRENGTHEN FORCE HEALTH PROTECTION

Monkayo, Davao de Oro – The 10th Station Hospital, 10th Infantry Division, Philippine Army, successfully conducted an Influenza (Flu) Vaccination Program for the personnel of the 25th Infantry (Fireball) Battalion, stationed at Camp Kalaw, Brgy. Poblacion, Monkayo, Davao de Oro.
The activity was spearheaded by Capt. Lizalyn Y. Sotero NC, Head Nurse, 10th Station Hospital, 10ID, PA, together with the hospital’s medical team.

The vaccination program was conducted to enhance force health protection by preventing influenza-related illnesses among military personnel, thereby ensuring their continuous operational readiness in support of the Command’s mission. Aside from administering the vaccines, the medical team also emphasized the importance of immunization in reducing the spread of seasonal influenza and maintaining a healthy and resilient fighting force.
