It’s a wrap for Education on Wheels 4.0! 📚🚌💙
The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Tibungco concluded the 5-day Education on Wheels 4.0 with a meaningful and successful culmination day at F. Bustamante Central Elementary School Gymnasium.
The program highlighted the inspiring reading performances of our young learners, showcasing not only their improved reading skills but also their confidence, courage, and growth throughout this journey.
DepEd XI Division Reading Supervisor Narmela Espedido and LYDO Operations Head Emmanuel N. Crismas, RSW, delivered inspiring messages that reminded everyone of the importance of education, literacy, and collective service in shaping the future of our young learners. Their words encouraged the children to continue dreaming, learning, and believing in themselves despite challenges.
The performances of the learners reflected the hard work, dedication, and perseverance of the organizers, volunteers, partners, and generous sponsors. Witnessing the children confidently stand before the community and share what they have learned was truly the greatest reward of this initiative.
As a token of recognition for completing the 5-day reading session, our learners also received school supplies and certificates that they can use for the upcoming school year. Seeing their smiles and excitement reminded us why initiatives like this matter because every child deserves support, encouragement, and opportunities to learn and grow.
Education on Wheels has always been more than just teaching children how to read. It became a space where friendships were built, confidence was nurtured, and community spirit flourished. Through every session, activity, and shared story, we were reminded that education becomes more meaningful when compassion and service are at its core.
We extend our sincerest gratitude to the Davao City Library and Information Center, especially to Sir Arniel Enoc and his dedicated team, for accompanying and supporting us throughout the entire duration of the activity. Their presence, assistance, and commitment to literacy and learning greatly contributed to the success of this initiative.
