The people of the Davao Region continue to demonstrate a strong sense of patriotism, discipline, and national pride by supporting efforts that promote awareness of the West Philippine Sea and the importance of protecting our nation's sovereignty.

Through sustained community engagement, information awareness activities, and meaningful dialogue, the Eastern Mindanao Command (EastMinCom), AFP has helped strengthen public understanding of the value of safeguarding our maritime resources, supporting Filipino livelihoods, and preserving a secure future for the next generation.

The Armed Forces of the Philippines welcomes every lawful investigation with openness and accountability. If the encounter deserves scrutiny, then the atrocities attributed to the “Negros 50” deserve the same level of attention.

Justice is not selective. Truth should not depend on who is being investigated. Every allegation must be examined. Every victim deserves to be heard. Every fact deserves to be established.

A professional military has nothing to hide and everything to gain from transparency. Accountability strengthens institutions, honors the rule of law, and ensures that the voices of all victims are not forgotten.

The AFP reaffirms its commitment to accountability, welcomes impartial investigations, and stands with communities that have suffered from violence and armed conflict. Justice is not served by disinformation—it is served by truth, transparency, and respect for the rule of law.
