‎CTE Student Leaders Take Oath for Academic Year 2026–2027
‎
‎The Commission on Student Elections (COMSELEC) of Rizal Memorial Colleges, Inc. successfully conducted the CTE Oath-Taking and Acceptance Ceremony for the newly elected officers of the College of Teacher Education (CTE) for Academic Year 2026–2027. The ceremony was held on Tuesday, July 21, 2026, bringing together student leaders, faculty members, and guests in a meaningful celebration of leadership and service.

‎The program opened with a prayer, an audio-visual presentation, and the singing of the Philippine National Anthem, followed by the opening remarks of COMSELEC Chair Hannah May Alinsonorin. Ms. Mayvann Digal, outgoing CTE Governor, formally turned over the responsibilities of the office to the newly elected Governor, Divine Rose Castillo, who accepted the role with gratitude and commitment. Dr. Agnes P. Mascariñas, CTE Dean, also delivered an inspiring message, encouraging the officers to lead with integrity and dedication.

‎The Oath-Taking Proper was presided over by Ms. Rosalie E. Caminero, Director of the Office of Student Services and Affairs (OSSA), followed by the awarding of certificates to the newly elected officers. Kelvin King Aradillos, SSG President, delivered the first closing remarks, congratulating the new leaders and encouraging them to serve with purpose and unity. The OSSA Director concluded the ceremony with a final message, reminding the officers to uphold the values of responsible and servant leadership. The event ended with the singing of the Rizal Memorial Colleges Hymn, officially marking the beginning of the officers' term of service.

On June 19, 2026, the Public Safety and Security Office (PSSO) conducted the Bomb Threat Awareness Forum in Davao City, bringing together representatives from the Department of Education (DepEd), high school heads, colleges, universities, and educational institutions across Davao City to strengthen awareness and preparedness on public safety and security.

The forum was attended by the Officer-in-Charge of the Public Safety and Security Office, PLTCOL Angel B. Sumagaysay (Ret.), together with respective Station Commanders of the Philippine National Police (PNP) within Davao City and representatives from the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) – Davao Region.

The activity was honored by the presence of the Guest of Honor and Speaker, Hon. Councilor Atty. Luna S. Acosta, Chairperson of the Committee on Peace and Public Safety and 1st District Councilor of Davao City.

Representing Rizal Memorial Colleges, Inc. (RMC), the RMC Supreme Crime Prevention Council (SCPC) President, Kelvin King R. Aradillos, attended the forum through the guidance of the RMC SCPC Adviser and CADAC Coordinator, Ms. Emily Estorba, Rcrim, under the supervision of the Office of Student Services Affairs headed by Ma’am Rosalie E. Caminero, MAT-GC, OSSA Director, and with the support and supervision of the Rizal Memorial Colleges, Inc. Administrators.

The main focus of the forum was to promote awareness on Online Bomb Threats, Explosives Safety, and Cyber Hygiene. Discussions highlighted the legal consequences of online bomb threats, proper handling and reporting of suspicious messages, bomb awareness and emergency response procedures, preservation of digital evidence, identifying suspicious online activities, responsible use of social media, and strengthening public safety through awareness and preparedness.

This meaningful activity served as a reminder that awareness, responsibility, and cooperation play an important role in creating safer schools and communities.

Together, let us remain vigilant, informed, and committed to promoting peace, safety, and responsible citizenship.
