NUTRITION MONTH CELEBRATION | Barangay Ubalde

Barangay Ubalde successfully celebrated Nutrition Month, highlighting the importance of proper nutrition, healthy lifestyles, and community participation in building a healthier and stronger barangay.

This meaningful activity was conducted under the leadership of Punong Barangay Jocelyn Aguilar, together with Committee on Health Chairman, Barangay Kagawad Susan F. Cagurol, and Health Nurse Emerson Beltran, with the dedicated support of the Barangay Health Workers, whose efforts in decorating the venue and assisting throughout the program greatly contributed to the success of the celebration.

We also extend our heartfelt appreciation to all the mothers and children who actively participated and made the event more meaningful through their cooperation and enthusiasm.

Our sincere gratitude is likewise extended to the Barangay Tanod for their invaluable assistance in the preparation and arrangement of chairs and tables, with the support of the committee headed by Barangay Kagawad Leo Y. Corvera and Barangay Kagawad Radito Bitco.

The award was presented on July 17, 2026 at Mergrande Ocean Resort, Davao City by DILG - City Director Mika Chan S. Magtulis and Davao City Mayor Sebastian Z. Duterte.

Through proper waste segregation and compliance with this policy, we can help extend the capacity and operational lifespan of our new landfill, ensuring its long-term benefit for the community.
