BAHAGHARI AdDU (BHRI) is a socio–political organization forged by the collective aspiration to deliver a different form of service and leadership, rooted in our time–honored principles of Active Non–Violence, Social Justice, Integrity, and Authentic Christian Humanism. Since our founding in 2007, we have stood as the all-encompassing pillar of progressive thought and action in the Ateneo de Davao
University. In BAHAGHARI, we aim to unravel an individual's potential and cultivate their excellence within to manifest our vision of a proactive and dynamic 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗮𝗻𝘁–𝗔𝗱𝘃𝗼𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿 and 𝗔𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗿𝘆, who shall extend themselves for the service and betterment of the Atenean and the Filipinos. Here, we find that in diversity there is unity — in the many, there is one — and to represent each difference has been at the core of our mission. Hence, the name BAHAGHARI is a junction being represented by different colors that, when put together, creates a rainbow. It means “better” in Latin, and the concept of Meliora serves as a dictum for us to consistently be the best by being better and better still — for ourselves, for others, for our country, and the greater good. As Ateneans, we always reach for more. As a Kabahagi, we dare because we are destined beyond the limits of perception and expectations.
