RESEARCH AT INOBASYON: DOH DAVAO NANGUNA SA 2ND QUARTER RRDIC XI MEETING

Pinangunahan ng DOH Davao ang 2nd Quarter Regional Research, Development, and Innovation Committee XI (RRDIC XI) meeting na ginanap sa Davao City noong Mayo 26, 2026.

Layunin ng aktibidad na palakasin ang kapasidad ng health research at system development. Aktibong ipinresenta ng DOH Davao team sa komite ang mga paunang resulta at rekomendasyon ng DOH-funded study na “The Development and Testing of Quality Assurance Scheme for Schistosomiasis and Intestinal Parasites,” kasama ang DOH e-Learning Program para sa Philippine Network for Health Policy and Systems Research (PN4HPSR), sa pangunguna ni OIC Assistant Regional Director Dr. Grace Amistoso kasama ang Planning Section - R&D Program.

Sa huli, patuloy na isinusulong ng DOH Davao at mga katuwang na ahensiya ng RRDIC XI ang pag-endorso ng mga resolusyon sa Regional Development Council XI upang higit pang masuportahan ang mga inisyatibo sa research, development, at innovation.

DOH DAVAO, JAS LGU NAGKAISA SA KAHANDAAN SA EMERHENSIYA

Nagkaisa ang Health Emergency Management Section ng DOH Davao at Local Government Unit (LGU) ng Jose Abad Santos (JAS), Davao Occidental sa pagsusulong ng mas matatag na kahandaan sa emerhensiya sa pamamagitan ng Standard First Aid (SFA) Training of Trainers na isinagawa mula Mayo 24–29, 2026.

Ang aktibidad naglalayong palakasin ang first aid capability, disaster preparedness, at mabilis na pagtugon ng mga responders at komunidad sa oras ng sakuna at iba pang emerhensiya. Nakiisa rin ang iba’t ibang ahensya at institusyon upang higit pang mapaigting ang koordinasyon at serbisyong pangkalusugan para sa kaligtasan ng mamamayan.

Importante kaayo ang skin-to-skin contact ug ang pagsugod ug breastfeeding sa sulod sa unang 90 minutos pagkahuman ug anak para makatabang sa exclusive breastfeeding ni baby. Pero kung napahunong man gani kini, posible pa gihapon nga makabalik pinaagi sa relactation—basta naa lang ang saktong tabang ug giya. 🤱✨

Samtang nagre-relactate, pwedeng mangayo ug giya sa mga doktor, breastfeeding counselor, health worker, ug mga support group bahin sa wet nursing (pagpasuso sa laing inahan), donor human milk, ug uban pang pamaagi para makadawat gihapon si baby ug gatas sa ina.
