DCPO Strengthens Security Measures Amid Online Threats
Davao City β On August 12, 2026, the Davao City Police Office (DCPO), under the leadership of PCOL PETER B MADRIA, City Director, together with PLTCOL NOEL C ASUMEN, Deputy City Director for Operations, convened an emergency meeting with the DCPO Quad Staff and Station Commanders of PS 2-San Pedro, PS 13-Mandug, PS 6-Bunawan, and PS 4-Sasa to address the current online threats affecting schools within their respective areas of responsibility.
During the meeting, PCOL MADRIA directed all concerned units to intensify investigations to identify the perpetrators behind the threats and ensure that, once identified, they will be held fully liable. He also instructed the conduct of information drives and lectures in schools to raise awareness and strengthen vigilance among students and faculty. Furthermore, he emphasized the importance of close coordination with barangay officials to secure community support and ordered the exhaustion of all available resources in information gathering, including the mobilization of force multipliers.
DCPO remains steadfast in its commitment to proactive law enforcement, operational readiness, and community partnership, ensuring that schools continue to be safe environments for learning and development.
