Kasikas sa Konseho: During last Tuesday’s Regular Session, we successfully defended and passed two resolutions and ordinance aimed at strengthening Davao City’s education sector.

First is the CENTEX Digital Education Program in collaboration with Ayala Foundation, Inc. and DepEd Davao City.

Second, is another partnership with DepEd, wherein the City Government of Davao allocated funds for the Construction of a 3-storey, 9 classroom Building at Binowang Elementary School, Barangay Fatima, Paquibato District.

Another step forward for education, another win for Davao City’s learners!

Kasikas sa Komitiba: We have truly come full circle VP Inday Sara Duterte. Seven years ago we shared a dream of having a One-stop shop Center for Children with Special Needs in Davao City.

Here we are now, celebrating the HEART of the Davao City Special Needs Intervention Center for Children, our expert Medical Service Providers, our hardworking Allied Medical Service Providers - our OT, PT, Speech Pathologist, Audiologist, our ever patient Special Education Teachers, whom we all call our Teachers.

For every milestone, big or small, our teachers are there quietly cheering for our children that the Center has catered to since March 21, 2025.

Thank you Mayor Sebastian "Baste" Duterte City Government of Davao for your full support.

From the Regular Session of the 21st City Council to our post-session watch party as we tuned in to Mayor Sebastian "Baste" Duterte’s attendance during the impeachment proceedings and office visits from barangay officials.

Kasikas sa Komitiba: Honored to witness the signing of the Memorandum of Agreement by and between the Office of the Vice President and the City Government of Davao for the undertaking of peace-building programs, projects, and activities in Davao City, with Vice President Inday Sara Duterte as Guest of Honor.

Also grateful to be invited to the Writeshop for the Davao DCplinado Modules on Peace Education, an important initiative that seeks to equip our learners with the values of peace, understanding, respect, and responsible citizenship.

Building peace begins with education. May we continue to nurture a generation that embraces dialogue, respects differences, and chooses unity and understanding.
