Congratulations to the performers from Don Enrique Bustamante National High School — 𝗧𝗿𝗶𝗯𝘂𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝗼 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗵𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗻 𝗣𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗔𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 for showcasing outstanding performance during the Indak-Indak sa Kadayawan, in line of the recent Kadayawan Festival last August 16, 2026!

As they secured 4th Place, the group wonderfully showcased Davao City's rich culture and history, bringing vibrant movements and colorful costumes and props on stage. Through every beat and stories told, the dancers displayed their dedication, discipline, and passion for celebrating the spirit of Kadayawan.

Last June 27, 2026, Don Enrique Bustamante National High School successfully conducted the Election of the School Parents-Teachers Association (SPTA) Board of Directors for School Year 2026–2027, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening the partnership between the school and the parents.

Grade-level representatives actively participated in the election by casting their votes to choose the new set of SPTA officers. The entire election process was efficiently facilitated by the Election Committee (ELECOM) headed by Ma'am Irose P. Pahila, ensuring a fair, transparent, and orderly conduct of the proceedings.

During the program, Sir Edwin T. Cantoja, Assistant School Principal II/School Head, expressed his full support for the plans and programs of the SPTA. He also shared his vision for the school's continuous growth and development, emphasizing the importance of strong collaboration between the school and parents in achieving quality education for every learner.

Following the election, Hon. Wilson Bustamante led the Oath-Taking Ceremony of the newly elected SPTA Officers, formally entrusting them with the responsibility of serving the school community with dedication, integrity, and commitment.

Congratulations to the newly elected SPTA Officers for School Year 2026–2027! May your leadership foster stronger partnerships and meaningful initiatives that will benefit the learners, parents, and the entire DEBNHS community.

𝐃𝐄𝐁𝐍𝐇𝐒 𝐉𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞 𝐒𝐢𝐦𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔

In support of the 2nd Quarter Nationwide Simultaneous Earthquake Drill spearheaded by the Office of Civil Defense, Don Enrique Bustamante National High School actively participated in the nationwide activity on June 18, 2026, at 9:00 AM.

The drill aimed to strengthen disaster preparedness and promote awareness among school personnel and learners on the proper response during an earthquake. Participants demonstrated the standard "Duck, Cover, and Hold" procedure and practiced orderly evacuation to designated safe areas, ensuring readiness in the event of a real emergency.

Through this activity, the school reaffirmed its commitment to fostering a culture of safety, preparedness, and resilience among its stakeholders. Regular participation in disaster preparedness programs equips our learners and personnel with the knowledge and skills necessary to protect lives and minimize risks during emergencies.

The entire Don Enrique Bustamante National High School family extends its heartfelt gratitude to all our volunteers, stakeholders, parents, teachers, learners, alumni, community partners, and generous donors who dedicated their time, effort, resources, and support to make this year's Brigada Eskwela a remarkable success.

Through your collective commitment and spirit of volunteerism, our school has been transformed into a safer, cleaner, more organized, and learner-friendly environment in preparation for the opening of classes. The various activities from classroom cleaning and repair, painting, waste management, and other improvement initiatives, demonstrated the true essence of Bayanihan, where every individual worked together for a common purpose ensuring quality education for our learners.
