Chef Ralph Gio Ardina Gerapusco brings bakery-level brilliance to our basic workshop! 👨‍🍳✨

What an extraordinary Friday we had last July 17, 2026, at the MTDLTC Building in Sandawa, Davao City! While it was officially listed as a "basic" bread and pastry workshop, our participants were treated to an experience that went well beyond the basics. We were honored to have Chef Ralph Gio Ardina Gerapusco, whose talent, expertise, and generosity made this session a truly one-of-a-kind opportunity for everyone in attendance!

Chef Gio shared exclusive, gourmet recipes that were surprisingly easy to prepare, proving that high-end baking techniques are well within reach for aspiring Dabawenyo entrepreneurs. Using just one master sweet dough, our workshop attendees learned to craft a variety of unique breads: mexican and spanish breads, almond cream bread, crunchy peanut streusel, trendy kunafa and melted dark choco buns.

🌸 Warning: Once you start twisting fuzzy wires, there is absolutely no turning back!✨

We had a highly enthusiastic Friday last June 26, 2026, as our trainees gathered at the MTDLTC Building in Sandawa, Davao City for our Basic Fuzzy Wire Flower Making Skills Training!

This specific workshop has quickly become an absolute fan-favorite skills training, and it is easy to see why. The room was packed with vibrant energy as our participants discovered just how incredibly addictive, relaxing, and satisfying it is to bend, shape, and transform simple fuzzy wires into stunning, everlasting floral masterpieces.

Throughout the hands-on session, everyone learned the step-by-step techniques of turning colorful stems into intricate petals, leaves, and fully bloomed flower creations. A massive congratulations to all of our hardworking attendees!

JUNE 24, 2026 | Basic Homecare Products Preparation MTD Workshop

We had a very productive and practical Wednesday last June 24, 2026, as our community gathered at the MTDLTC Building in Sandawa, Davao City, for the MagNegosyo 'Ta Day (MTD) Basic Homecare Products Preparation Workshop!

Throughout the hands-on session, the participants learned the exact science and formulation behind making essential household items that every family uses daily. Everyone got their hands dirty learning how to create quality fabric conditioner, dishwashing liquid, and effective powder detergent from scratch.

Mastering these everyday products means our participants are now fully equipped to cut down on their own grocery expenses or even jumpstart their very own local homecare enterprise!

Ready to turn your baking passion into a sweet, profitable venture? ✨👩‍🍳

The kitchen was filled with heavenly aroma last June 23, 2026, Tuesday, as we hosted our highly anticipated Basic Bread and Pastry Making Training! We were incredibly fortunate to have brilliant local baking masters guide our trainees through the entire process. A huge thank you to our expert resource speakers, Rosemie Palma of Bake with Love with Rosemie and Phoebe Bete Duhaylungsod of Phoebe Bakes.

It was a wholesome yet intensive day of learning, giving our aspiring bakers a real, hands-on feel for the precision, technique, and love required to bake professional-grade goods. They started by learning the art of yeast doughs, rolling out perfectly soft cheese rolls and ham bread. From there, they transitioned into whipping up a lemon chiffon cake alongside golden, sweet coconut macaroons.

A massive congratulations to our 20 new bakers for rising to the occasion and bringing so much energy to the kitchen! We can't wait to see your future baking businesses flourish across Davao.

JUNE 18-19 | DAY 2 of Basic Homecare Products Preparation - Paquibato🧴

Following the excitement of our product-making sessions, our participants returned for Day 2 of the Basic Homecare Products Preparation training last June 19, 2026, Friday, to put the final touches on their handmade creations!

Gathering once again at the MASDEC Spring Resort, the proud members of Masdec MultiPurpose Cooperative - Official, Malabog Agriculture Cooperative (MAC), and Malabog Water Service Cooperative (MAWASCO) shifted their focus toward packaging and repacking the dishwashing liquid and aromatic fabric conditioner they had formulated the day before. After sealing their products, the participants filled out their evaluation forms, taking a moment to reflect on everything they had learned throughout this two-part training.

The entire two-day training was a massive success, leaving everyone feeling empowered, inspired, and fully equipped with sustainable livelihood skills to elevate their local cooperative businesses!

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the participating cooperatives. The future of local enterprise in Brgy. Malabog is looking brighter and cleaner than ever.

JUNE 18-19, 2026 | DAY 1 of Basic Homecare Products Preparation training at Paquibato District!

We are absolutely thrilled to share the Day 1 training recap of our successful two-part Basic Homecare Products Preparation Workshop held last June 18-19, 2026!

A wonderful and enthusiastic group of 25 participants gathered at the beautiful MASDEC Spring Resort in Brgy. Malabog, Paquibato District, Davao City.

Making the event even more special, the resort itself is proudly operated by one of our very own local cooperatives, the Masdec MultiPurpose Cooperative - Official. It was a beautiful display of cooperative unity as members from Malabog Agriculture Cooperative (MAC) and Malabog Water Service Cooperative (MAWASCO) also actively joined the training across both days, working side-by-side to uplift their respective communities.

During Day 1 of this exciting two-part training, our trainees focused on creating daily household essentials, mastering the formulation of fabric conditioner, powder detergent, and dishwashing liquid. They wrapped up the product-making phase on the first day and immediately shifted their gears on Day 2 to focus entirely on proper product repacking and presentation, ensuring their goods are market-ready.

The entire two-day session was supervised by Sir Alvert Q. Austria, our dedicated Paquibato CCDO District Head, who provided guidance to our future homecare entrepreneurs all throughout the workshop.

A massive congratulations to all our participants for successfully completing the training, and a huge thank you to MASDEC, MAC, and MAWASCO!

JUNE 17, 2026 | Basic Candle Making at the MagNegosyo 'Ta Day Livelihood and Training Center🕯️✨

A wonderful group of 25 participants gathered at the MTDLTC Building in Brgy. 76-A, Bucana, Talomo District to spark their spirits.

From melting to pouring, our fantastic trainees learned the exact science and art behind achieving a perfect burn. Throughout the session, everyone got hands-on experience, understanding how different types of candle waxes behave and discovering which specific fragrances make them truly pop. By the end of the day, they walked away not just with beautiful, custom handmade candles, but with sustainable livelihood skills ready to fuel their future businesses.

Thank you to everyone who joined and made this training a success!
