Given the nature of MIADPโ€™s work, which involves field activities and engagement with communities, having personnel equipped with essential lifesaving skills is vital. BLS training empowers individuals to respond promptly and appropriately during medical emergencies, particularly when immediate professional medical assistance may not yet be available.

Learning BLS is more than acquiring a skillโ€”it is preparing to recognize an emergency, respond with confidence, and potentially help save a life when every second matters.

When cardiac arrest happens, the brain is extremely vulnerable to the lack of oxygen. Brain injury can begin within minutes, making the first few minutes a critical window for action.

This is why knowing Basic Life Support (BLS) is so important. โค๏ธโ€๐Ÿฉน

Knowing how to recognize cardiac arrest, call for help, start CPR, and use an AED can make the difference between waiting for help and becoming the help someone needs.
