Advancing agricultural education and strengthening the local farming communities, the Department of Agriculture Regional Field Office 11 through the High Value Crops Development Program officially turned over a Php 1,721,172.74 Nursery Facility to the Davao del Sur State College (DSSC) today, August 6.

Located at the DSSC Kapoc Extension Campus in Matanao, the infrastructure project was funded and supported under the DA 11 High Value Crops Development Program.

Farmers in Asuncion, Davao del Norte now have easier access to free soil testing services as the Mobile Soil Laboratory (MSL) arrives in the municipality, bringing soil analysis services closer to farming communities.

The state-of-the-art 10-wheeler laboratory can analyze up to 44 chemical, physical, and microbiological properties of soil and water.
