The cause of his passing has not yet been disclosed. Further details are expected to be released by his family or the provincial government.
Cua, born on November 4, 1977, in Quezon City, was serving as governor of Quirino, a position he assumed in 2019. He previously served as governor from 2007 to 2010.
Before returning to the provincial capitol, Cua represented Quirino’s lone congressional district in the House of Representatives from 2010 to 2019. He also served as vice governor of Quirino from 2001 to 2007.
