Empowering Safety: Digos City Fire Station Joins Online Seminar on Fire Safety for Vulnerable Individuals
The Digos City Fire Station (DCFS), led by City Fire Marshal Israel Johann C. Alagaban, recently participated in an online seminar focusing on fire safety for vulnerable individuals. This webinar aimed to educate community educators on conducting effective fire safety lectures tailored for people with special needs.
Participants learned strategies for addressing the unique challenges faced by children with special care, individuals with disabilities, and the elderly during fire emergencies. By equipping educators with essential knowledge and tools, the seminar aimed to enhance the safety and preparedness of these at-risk groups.
Through this initiative, the Digos City Fire Station reaffirmed its commitment to creating a safer community for all, ensuring that vulnerable individuals receive the support they need in emergency situations.
