LOOK: The NFA Davao del Sur Branch Office has procured dry palay from a rice farmer of Barangay Aumbay, Island Garden City of Samal last October 13, 2023. This is a result of our intensive palay procurement campaign in the area. More farmers are enticed to avail NFA's buying price of P 23.00 per kilogram for dry palay and support the government's buffer stocking requirements.

Officers and members of Tagbaobo and Aumbay Farmers Irrigators Service Association (TAFISA) attended the Ugnayan activity held at Barangay Aumbay, Island Garden City of Samal. BM Janette Linao discussed the NFA’s new buying price for dry and wet palay. Our appreciation to the Barangay Officials of Aumbay for organizing the said event.

Right after the meeting, NFA personnel also visited the rice fields in Barangay Libuak, IGACOS. We have talked directly to some farmers about the Agency’s palay procurement program.

🌾 BM Janette M. Linao and staff conducted palay crop survey and advocacy campaign at Aumbay, IGACOS.
🌾 Another palay procurement at Hagonoy, Davao del Sur. A rice farmer has availed the price of P 23.00 per kilogram for dry palay.
