Ensuring Electoral Readiness: The 6th Monthly Provincial Conference

On June 18, 2026, the Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Davao del Sur successfully conducted its 6th Monthly Provincial Conference at the Bahay Tahanan, Municipal Hall Compound in Sta. Cruz, Davao del Sur.

The productive session was led by Atty. Jennifer P. Ancla, who facilitated comprehensive discussions on the latest COMELEC Memorandums and Resolutions, as well as the recent Internal Audit Report. Crucially, the conference focused on preparations for the upcoming Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) and Barangay Elections to ensure a smooth, transparent, and orderly voting process.

PAALALA na ang pagpapalaganap ng maling impormasyon upang maging sanhi ng kalituhan ng mga botante ay maaaring ituring na Election Offense sa ilalim ng Section 261(z)(11) ng Omnibus Election Code.

The hearings covered the review and approval of voter registration applications filed during the first registration period, from April 7, 2026, to May 18, 2026.
