Personnel of Dimasalang Fire Station actively participated in the Brigada Eskwela 2026 Kick-Off Ceremony held at Dimasalang National High School with the theme, โ€œBayanihan sa Paaralan: Nagkakaisa Para sa Kaayusan sa Paaralan.โ€

The activity highlighted the spirit of volunteerism, community partnership, and collective responsibility in preparing schools for the opening of classes. Through the collaborative efforts of government agencies, stakeholders, parents, teachers, and volunteers, Brigada Eskwela aims to provide learners with a safe, clean, and conducive learning environment.

Dimasalang Fire Station Personnel conducted fire safety inspections in various households at Barangay Poblacion, Dimasalang, Masbate, as well as at Orlando B. Tepait National High School, on 01 June 2026.

The activity was carried out under the Bureau of Fire Protectionโ€™s โ€œOplan Ligtas na Pamayananโ€ program and in accordance with Republic Act No. 9514, otherwise known as the Fire Code of the Philippines. Through these inspections, personnel assess potential fire hazards and promote a culture of fire safety within the community.

The inspections focused on identifying common risks such as defective electrical wiring, overloaded outlets and extension cords, improper handling of LPG cylinders, and other unsafe practices that may lead to fire incidents. In addition, residents and school personnel were provided with practical fire safety reminders and preventive measures to help protect lives and property.

This initiative highlights the Bureauโ€™s commitment to strengthening community preparedness and reducing fire-related risks. The publicโ€™s continued cooperation and active participation are essential in building a safer, more resilient, and fire-conscious community. ๐Ÿš’๐Ÿ”ฅ

Personnel of Dimasalang Fire Station together with MDRRMO Dimasalang promptly responded to a vehicular accident (head-on collision) that transpired at Brgy. Banahao, Dimasalang, Masbate, involving two (2) motorcycles with two (2) injured victims this 31st of May 2026 at 1855H.

Upon arrival, EMS personnel conducted scene-size up and the injured individuals were immediately provided with first aid to prevent further complications. Following initial treatment, the victims were safely transported to Moises R. Espinosa Sr. Memorial District Hospital for further medical care by both MDDRMO Dimasalang and Dimasalang Fire Station Personnel.
