Congratulations to the KKDAT San Jose for the successful conduct of Bola Kontra Droga 2026, held as part of the Linggo ng Kabataan 2026 (LNK’26) celebration!

The activity was organized by KKDAT San Jose, led by Ms. Nova Mi Bacalso, KKDAT President, with the support and guidance of the SK Federation of San Jose, under the leadership of Hon. Kim Valeri A. Tampon, LPT, SK Federated President, together with LYDO-Designate Sarah Faith A. Catubig, CPA, and the dedicated KKDAT officials.

More than a volleyball tournament, Bola Kontra Droga promotes teamwork, discipline, sportsmanship, friendship, and a healthy and drug-free lifestyle among the youth. It provides a positive space where young people can come together, develop their talents, and strengthen their commitment to becoming responsible members of the community.

Our congratulations to all participating teams, players, coaches, officials, volunteers, and everyone who contributed to the success of the activity. Your participation proves that sports can be a powerful tool in keeping the youth active, united, and away from illegal drugs.

The Bola Kontra Droga Volleyball Tournament 2026 – Men’s Division officially began its Elimination Rounds on August 10, 2026, at the Barangay Santa Cruz Gymnasium, San Jose, Dinagat Islands.

The tournament was successfully conducted through the collaborative efforts of the SK Federation of San Jose, Local Youth Development Council (LYDC), and Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo (KKDAT), bringing young athletes together through sports while promoting discipline, teamwork, sportsmanship, and a drug-free youth community.

Special thanks to Barangay Santa Cruz for serving as our valued partner and host for the Volleyball Tournament, under the leadership of Hon. Aida C. Antipolo, Punong Barangay, and Hon. Jessie Bae Paredes, SK Chairperson, whose support and cooperation contributed greatly to the successful conduct of the event.

Our sincere appreciation also goes to Ms. Nova Mi V. Bacalso, KKDAT President, together with the dedicated KKDAT officials, for their leadership, active participation, and continued support for this youth-centered initiative.

More than a competition, Bola Kontra Droga provides young people with a positive avenue to develop their skills, build camaraderie, strengthen discipline, and promote a healthier, drug-free community.

KKDAT San Jose President Nova Mi Bacalso and Internal Vice President Rhaniel Villamor paid a courtesy call to PCPT Almira S. Rosialda, the newly designated Officer-in-Charge of the San Jose Municipal Police Station.

The meeting served as an opportunity to formally welcome the new station commander and discuss the organization’s upcoming plans and initiatives, with special focus on the preparations for Linggo ng Kabataan (LNK) 2026. Both parties reaffirmed their shared commitment to empowering the youth through meaningful programs that promote leadership, volunteerism, peace and order, and drug prevention.

KKDAT San Jose looks forward to a stronger partnership with the San Jose Municipal Police Station in creating more impactful activities that will inspire and empower the youth of our community.
