Representatives from the Bangsamoro Federalist Party Youth Sector paid a courtesy visit to Provincial Governor Datu Tucao O. Mastura, CPA, and Provincial Administrator Datu Sharifudin Tucao P. Mastura, CPA, CPA, at the Provincial Government Center today, September 7, 2026.

This productive engagement brought together key youth advocates and leaders—including 1st Youth Nominee Nur-Jamil A. Ibrahim, 2nd Youth Nominee Abdurahman Taib, Campaign Manager Nur-Ameen Ibrahim, MP Consultant Ustdz Taher Esmael, and Madrasa Mudir Alion Abdullah—to foster meaningful dialogue, strengthen partnerships, and champion new opportunities for youth development across the province.

September 3, 2026, marks the official 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗯𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 of the 𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗖𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗡𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗲 along Diversion Road, Brgy. Ungap, Sultan Kudarat, led by Governor Datu Tucao O. Mastura, CPA, together with 𝗩𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝘃. 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝘂 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗜. 𝗦𝗶𝗻𝘀𝘂𝗮𝘁.

The proposed design and appearance of the new provincial center was introduced and witnessed by MDN employees, some members of the Parliament, mayors and vice mayors across the province, partner agencies, security personnel and more. Designed by Arch. Moneer Basit N. Ibrahim together with Arch. Lance Nathan Y. Lim, UAP, NAMPAP of Far East Associates and Urban Planners, and Engr. Ramon P. Hinlog, Jr., MASEP, the center’s architecture honors the “rich history, culture, and identity of the Maguindanaoan people.”

Anchored on the vision of "𝗠𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗹𝗮𝗺," and “𝗦’𝗸𝗮 𝗡𝗮, 𝗠𝗮𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗼”, Gov. Mastura reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to being a "gobyernong nakikinig sa daing ng mamamayan"—bringing government services closer to the people through the Convergence Program.

Sa isinagawang revalidation, idineklarang ZOD ang Purok 2, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 at 10, habang Open Defecation (OD) naman ang Purok 1, 3, 11-A at 11-B.

Iginiit ni 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝗶 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗷𝗶𝗱𝗮 𝗕. 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮 na may ambag ang bawat residente sa pagpapanatili ng malinis at maayos na kapaligiran. Aniya, hindi lamang responsibilidad ng barangay officials o ng pamahalaan ang pagpapanatili ng kalinisan, kundi tungkulin din ng bawat pamilya at residente na makiisa at panatilihing malinis ang kanilang paligid.

Dagdag pa nya "dito natin nakikita na marami pa po talaga tayong problema na kailangan nating pagtulungan. Nasanay po ang mga tao sa tulong, at ito po ang isa sa pinakamalaking problema natin ang pagiging dependent sa tulong. Kaya ano pa po ang maaari nating gawin? I-educate po natin sila"

Layunin ng revalidation na matukoy ang epekto ng pagbaha sa mga palikuran at sanitation facilities at matiyak ang pagpapanatili ng ZOD status ng barangay.

Lubos naman ang pasasalamat ni 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗶𝗿𝗺𝗮𝗻 𝗔𝗹𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗬. 𝗗𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘆 sa patuloy na suporta ng probinsya sa mga programa para sa wastong sanitasyon.

Kasabay nito, isinagawa rin ang monitoring at pakikipag-ugnayan kaugnay ng ZOD Program partikular sa 𝗕𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗮𝘆 𝗚𝗧. 𝗕𝗶𝗿𝘂𝗮𝗿, kasama sina 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗶𝗲𝗳 𝗼𝗳 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗳𝗳 𝗕𝗮𝗶 𝗦𝗵𝗮𝗷𝗶𝗱𝗮 𝗕. As the pioneer Regional Governor of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) from 1990 to 1993 and a former Governor of Maguindanao, Datu Zacaria Candao remains a foundational figure in local public administration. Governor Datu Tucao O. Mastura, CPA, together with Atty. John Rangal Nadua, welcomed Mr. Tao Yingxue, Project Manager of China Geo-Engineering (PHIL.) Corporation / R.D. Interior, for a courtesy visit at the Provincial Government Center today, September 4, 2026.

This joint venture project aligns with the broader peace and modernization initiatives driven by the national government, the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM), and international partners to advance infrastructure in Maguindanao del Norte.

During the meeting, key discussions centered on the upcoming road project set to traverse the area. To ensure boundary security and operational safety, Gov. Mastura directed the contractor to construct a replacement fence prior to opening the current gate for construction. Furthermore, the Provincial Government will coordinate with the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) regarding the temporary Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) gate and fencing adjustments along the Provincial Nursery.

In a joint commitment to safeguard peace, security, and democratic processes across the region, the provincial government of Maguindanao del Norte convened with top commanders of the Armed Forces of the Philippines to reinforce security measures ahead of the historic regional polls.

Governor Datu Tucao O. Mastura, CPA, and Provincial Administrator Datu Sharifudin Tucao P. Mastura, CPA, hosted a dinner meeting today, September 2, 2026, in Brgy. Salimbao, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao del Norte. The meeting was attended by Acting Commander of the 6th Infantry (Kampilan) Division BGen. Ricky P. Bunayog, PA, Brigadier General (BGen) Edgar L. Catu PA, Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Rito A. Petinglay Jr., INF (GSC) PA, and Acting Brigade Commander of the 602nd Infantry (Liberator) Brigade Colonel Romeo N. Bautista III PA.

This roundtable discussion signifies a strong partnership dedicated to addressing key issues and concerns surrounding the upcoming first BARMM Parliamentary Election on September 14, 2026, ensuring that citizens can exercise their democratic rights smoothly, securely, and safely.
