𝐑𝐂𝐒𝐏 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐁𝐈𝐒𝐘𝐎 𝐂𝐀𝐑𝐀𝐕𝐀𝐍: 𝐁𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐆𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐌𝐄𝐍𝐓 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄𝐒 𝐂𝐋𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐑 𝐓𝐎 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐓𝐘 | 𝐉𝐔𝐍𝐄 30, 2026
The RCSP Serbisyo Caravan: Bringing Government Services Closer to the Community, an initiative of the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) in relation to the Retooled Community Support Program (RCSP), was successfully conducted in Barangay Payangan, Dinalupihan, Bataan. The activity aimed to deliver essential government services directly to the people and address the immediate needs of the community through the collective efforts of various national and local government agencies.
The activity was spearheaded by DILG Dinalupihan under the leadership of MLGOO Bernardino P. Santiago, in partnership with DILG Region III represented by Ms. Lerrie S. Hernandez, EnP, Chief of the Monitoring and Evaluation Division, and DILG Bataan headed by Provincial Director Belina T. Herman, CESO V, together with Cluster Team Leader LGOO VII Cristy M. Blanco, with the support of the Municipality of Dinalupihan.
The program formally opened with messages from local and DILG officials expressing their support for the continuous delivery of accessible and responsive government services to communities. Following the opening program, the simultaneous delivery of services commenced, benefiting residents through various assistance and information campaigns.
Among the services rendered were free medical consultations, dental check-ups, and medicines provided by the Municipal Health Office (MHO). The Local Civil Registrar (LCR) facilitated the one-day processing of civil registry documents, while TESDA Bataan provided information and assistance regarding its available programs and training opportunities. Residents also benefited from free haircut services rendered by Charlie “Cyclone” Company, 84IB, 7ID, Philippine Army.
Other services included the distribution of vegetable seeds and IEC leaflets by the Municipal Agriculture Office (MAO), dissemination of fire prevention information by the Dinalupihan Municipal Fire Station, and peace and order information campaigns conducted by the Dinalupihan Municipal Police Station. Food packs, bread, and water were distributed through the efforts of DILG Bataan and DILG Dinalupihan, while refreshments and information regarding the recruitment of Jail Officers were provided by the Dinalupihan Municipal Jail.
Also present during the activity was the 84th Infantry “Victorious” Battalion, 7th Infantry “Kaugnay” Division, Philippine Army, which provided information and awareness regarding the West Philippine Sea and national security concerns.
The RCSP Serbisyo Caravan reflects the government’s continuing commitment to responsive, accessible, and people-centered public service through strengthened collaboration among agencies and active community engagement.
