The Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR) Central Luzon presented its accomplishments and key performance indicators virtually during the National CY 2026 1st Semester Formative Performance Assessment and CY 2026 2nd Semester Catch-Up Planning Conference on August 3–4, 2026.

The assessment provided an opportunity for DAR Central Luzon to showcase its first semester achievements, discuss implementation challenges, and present its catch-up plans for the second semester in support of the department's commitment to achieving its targets and delivering responsive agrarian reform services.

𝐃𝐀𝐑 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐄𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝟗 𝐀𝐑𝐁𝐎𝐬 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐠𝐡 𝐂𝐃𝐀 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐲 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠

The 𝐂𝐨𝐨𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐫, a CDA Mandatory Training, was successfully conducted on July 15–16, 2026, bringing together cooperative officers, directors, and members to strengthen their knowledge and capabilities in effective cooperative leadership and governance. The activity aimed to promote a deeper understanding of the principles and practices that contribute to responsible management, sound decision-making, and the long-term sustainability of cooperatives.

Throughout the two-day seminar, participants actively engaged in discussions, interactive learning sessions, and the sharing of experiences that enhanced their appreciation of good governance and effective management. The seminar encouraged collaboration, critical thinking, and the exchange of best practices, enabling participants to identify opportunities for improving their respective cooperatives.

Overall, the seminar achieved its objective of equipping participants with valuable knowledge and practical insights that will support stronger leadership, improved governance, and more efficient cooperative operations.

The learnings gained are expected to contribute to the continued growth, resilience, and success of their cooperatives while reinforcing their commitment to serving their members with integrity, accountability, and excellence.

On June 30, 2026, 𝐃𝐀𝐑 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 successfully conducted the 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐢𝐬𝐤 𝐑𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐑𝐞𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 seminar for Agrarian Reform Beneficiaries Organizations (ARBOs), associations, and cooperatives under the 𝐂𝐑𝐅𝐏𝐒 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦. The activity aimed to strengthen the capacity of participants to promote disaster preparedness, resilience, and sustainable community development within their respective organizations.

The seminar was facilitated by 𝐃𝐫. 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐆. 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐝𝐞𝐳, 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐟𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐫 𝐈𝐕 and Campus Director of Bataan Peninsula State University–Abucay Campus. Drawing from his expertise in agricultural engineering, climate resilience, and sustainable agricultural development, Dr. Valdez shared valuable knowledge and practical insights that empowered participants to better understand the importance of disaster risk reduction in the agricultural sector.

Throughout the seminar, participants actively engaged in discussions and learning activities that enhanced their awareness and understanding of disaster risk reduction and management. The program encouraged the adoption of proactive approaches and strengthened the role of ARBOs, associations, and cooperatives in fostering safer, more resilient, and sustainable agrarian communities.

By investing in capacity-building initiatives such as this, organizations are better equipped to respond to emerging challenges, protect their members and resources, and contribute to the long-term resilience and development of their communities.
