The Sangguniang Kabataan of Barangay Tabugon, led by SK Chairperson Lawrence Cordova, participated in the 'Diskusyon kag Aksyon: A Youth-Centric Summit on Drug Awareness and Prevention.' Organized by DILG Region VI in collaboration with the Iloilo Provincial Government and the Panlalawigang Pederasyon ng mga Sangguniang Kabataan (PPSK) Iloilo, the summit was held in observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) 2026.

This initiative shifts the focus from top-down policy to ground-level, youth-led solutions. By centering the discussion on the youth, the summit recognizes that we are not just beneficiaries of anti-drug programs—we are essential partners in shaping a drug-free society. 🤝

Sa paggunita ng makasaysayang pagpapahayag ng ating kasarinlan sa Kawit, Cavite noong 1898, muli nating binibigyang-pugay ang tapang at sakripisyo ng ating mga bayani. Ngayong taon, dala natin ang temang: "Kalayaan. Kinabukasan. Kasaysayan."

Nawa’y magsilbi itong paalala na ang ating kalayaan ay hindi lamang isang bahagi ng nakaraan, kundi isang responsibilidad na dapat nating pangalagaan para sa ating kinabukasan.
