“𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗛𝗼𝗻𝗼𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗗𝗿𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗺𝘀 𝗟𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝘁 𝟲𝗥𝗖𝗗𝗚”

Di**le, Iloilo – As part of the ongoing Advance ROTC Academic Phase Training (ARAPT) MS 41–42, trainees of the 6th Regional Community Defense Group (6RCDG), Camp Adriano D. Hernandez, actively participated in a series of classroom lectures aimed at strengthening their foundational military knowledge, discipline, and character development as future reserve officers.

The first lecture focused on Military Honor and was facilitated by SSg Cherrylan Lacida (Inf) PA. The discussion highlighted military honor as a core value of the profession of arms and a defining characteristic of every soldier. It emphasized that honor is demonstrated through integrity in all actions, loyalty to the organization and the nation, self-discipline in both personal and professional conduct, and strict adherence to military rules, regulations, and ethical standards.

SSg Lacida further stressed that military honor is not only shown during official duties or combat operations, but also in everyday behavior, decision-making, and interaction with fellow trainees, superiors, and civilians. Trainees were encouraged to internalize these values as they continue their training and develop into responsible and professional reserve officers, reinforcing their commitment to serve with dignity, respect, and dedication.

This was followed by the lecture on General Drill Terms conducted by SSg Milover T Nardo (Inf) PA. The discussion covered basic drill commands, military terminology, and the proper ex*****on of movements used in formations and ceremonies. It emphasized the importance of precision, timing, coordination, and uniformity in carrying out commands, which are essential in building discipline, teamwork, and military bearing among trainees.

The activity also underscored the importance of proper response to commands, alertness, and composure during drill ex*****on, reinforcing drill as both a ceremonial requirement and a fundamental training tool that develops obedience, discipline, and cohesion within military ranks.

These instructional activities form part of the ARAPT MS 41–42 curriculum, designed to produce competent, disciplined, and mission-ready future reserve officers of the Philippine Army through continuous academic and practical training.

The 6th Regional Community Defense Group (6RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army, under the leadership of COL EDRALIN L POBLETE ART (GSC) PA, Group Commander, facilitates the orientation of Advance ROTC Academic Phase Training (ARAPT), Military Science (MS) 41-42 2026 held at Camp Hernandez, Di**le, Iloilo, today, June 2, 2026.

The activity marks the official start of the academic phase of training for the cadets, providing them with essential knowledge and understanding of the ARAPT program. It covers key topics such as training policies, administrative procedures, course requirements, and standards of conduct that will be strictly observed throughout the duration of the program. This ensures that cadets are properly informed and oriented on the expectations required of them as they progress in their ROTC journey.

Beyond administrative guidance, the orientation also highlights the importance of developing strong character and values formation among ROTC Officers. It emphasizes discipline, leadership, teamwork, integrity, and service to the nation core principles that are vital in shaping competent and responsible future reserve officers of the Armed Forces of the Philippines. The activity likewise serves as a foundation in preparing the officers for the more demanding phases of military training and leadership development.

The orientation is led by MAJ LEOPOLDO P DAPAT III (ARM) PA, Training Officer, who provides a comprehensive briefing and ensures the smooth, orderly, and effective implementation of the ARAPT program. This is followed by the Group Commander’s guidance, which further strengthens the objectives of the training by underscoring professionalism, commitment, and dedication to service.

6RCDG Strengthens Future Reserve Leaders Through Advance ROTC Academic Phase Training

DI**LE, Iloilo – Today, June 1, 2026, the 6th Regional Community Defense Group (6RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army formally opens the Advance ROTC Academic Phase Training for Military Science (MS) 41 and 42 at ISUFST-Di**le campus San Matias, Di**le, Iloilo.

The activity was led by COL EDRALIN L POBLETE ART (GSC) PA, Group Commander, and attended by training staff, instructors, and participating cadets from various ROTC units within the region. In his message, he underscored the importance of discipline, dedication, and integrity as fundamental qualities of a military leader and encouraged the trainees to make the most of the learning opportunities throughout the training period.

The opening ceremony marked the commencement of the Academic Phase Training, which aims to prepare future reserve officers through advanced military education and leadership development essential for effective service in the Reserve Force.

Throughout the 14-day ARAPT MS 41 & 42, trainees will gain advanced military knowledge and develop competencies in leadership, operations planning, drills and ceremonies, personnel administration, civil-military operations, and tactical fundamentals. The training will further strengthen their discipline, teamwork, physical fitness, and leadership abilities, preparing them for their future roles as advance ROTC officers and reservists.

The training marks another significant step in the continuous development of competent, disciplined, and dedicated future reserve officers. Through this program, trainees are further equipped with essential knowledge, skills, and values that will prepare them for greater responsibilities in the Reserve Force, ensuring they are fully capable and ready to serve the nation with honor and excellence.

DI**LE, Iloilo – The personnel of 6th Regional Community Defense Group (6RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army, gathered for the regular Monday Flag Raising Ceremony on June 1, 2026, at the Camp Adriano D. Hernandez, Di**le, Iloilo.

The ceremony was led by COL EDRALIN L POBLETE (GSC) PA, Group Commander, and participated to all Officers, Enlisted Personnel and Human Resources whose presence underscored the unit’s continued commitment to discipline, professionalism, and dedicated service to the nation.

The activity provided an opportunity for all personnel to start the week with a renewed sense of purpose, strengthen camaraderie within the organization, and reaffirm their commitment to the mission and vision of the Philippine Army.

The 6th Regional Community Defense Group (6RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army, under the leadership of Col Edralin L Poblete ART (GSC) PA, Group Commander, successfully conducted the Closing Ceremony of the Instructor’s Development Training (IDT) c/w Drill Master Training (DMT) held at Camp Hernandez, Di**le, Iloilo on May 25, 2026.

The three-day training activity marked the culmination of intensive instruction and practical exercises designed to enhance the participants’ competencies in military instruction, leadership, discipline, and drill management. The training aimed to strengthen the operational readiness and effectiveness of reservists in the performance of their respective duties and responsibilities.

During the ceremony, selected participants were recognized for their outstanding performance, dedication, and active participation throughout the training. The event also served as an avenue to acknowledge the invaluable efforts of the training staff and facilitators who shared their knowledge and expertise to ensure the success of the activity.

In his message, Maj Leopoldo P Dapat III (ARM) PA. Operations Officer who served as the Keynote Speajer commended the participants for their commitment, perseverance, and enthusiasm in completing the training. He emphasized the vital role of instructors and drill masters in shaping disciplined, competent, and mission-ready reservists and ROTC cadets who can effectively support the programs and initiatives of the Philippine Army. He further encouraged the graduates to apply the knowledge, skills, and leadership principles they have acquired in their respective units and communities.

The successful completion of the IDT c/w DMT underscores the continuing commitment of 6RCDG in developing capable reservists who embody professionalism, discipline, and service excellence in support of community defense and national security efforts.

The applicants of Call to Active Duty (CAD) 2334 conducted a Courtesy Call to COL EDRALIN L POBLETE ART (GSC) PA, Group Commander, 6RCDG, RESCOM, PA held at Camp Hernandez, Di**le, Iloilo. The activity marked a formal interaction between the CAD 2334 applicants and the command leadership, reflecting the applicants’ respect, professionalism, and dedication to military service.

The courtesy call aimed to formally present the applicants to the Group Commander and to foster stronger coordination and professional relationships within the organization. It also served as an avenue for the applicants to demonstrate their commitment, preparedness, and determination to fulfill the responsibilities entrusted to them as future members of the service.

During the engagement, the Group Commander imparted meaningful guidance and motivational messages that encouraged the applicants to remain steadfast in their training and future duties. The discussion highlighted the significance of discipline, leadership, teamwork, and integrity in carrying out the organization’s mission effectively.

The 6th Regional Community Defense Group (6RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army, under the leadership of COL EDRALIN L POBLETE ART (GSC) PA, Group Commander, conducted the Opening Ceremony of the Instructor’s Development Training (IDT) ctw Drill Master Training (DMT) held at Camp Hernandez, Di**le, Iloilo.

MAJ LEOPOLDO P DAPAT III (ARM) PA, Operations Officer, served as the Keynote Speaker and delivered an inspiring message highlighting the importance of discipline, competence, and effective leadership in military instruction and training.

During his message, Major Dapat emphasized the essential role of instructors and drill masters in developing reservists and ROTC cadets into disciplined, capable, and service-oriented individuals who can effectively contribute to the mission accomplishment of the Philippine Army. He also encouraged the participants to actively participate in the training, continuously improve their leadership and instructional skills, and uphold the values and professionalism expected of military personnel.
The training seeks to further improve the participants’ competencies in military instruction, leadership, and drill management to enhance the operational readiness and effectiveness of reservists in their respective assignments and responsibilities.

Furthermore, TSg Arnel B Tabilona (Inf) PA, Operations NCO, facilitated the student orientation by discussing the training policies, course objectives, and expectations throughout the duration of the training. Likewise, SSg Milover T Nardo (Inf) PA, RRU NCO, rendered instruction and shared his expertise with the participants during the conduct of the training.

This activity underscores the commitment of 6RCDG in producing competent, disciplined, and mission-ready reservists in support of community defense and national security initiatives.
