6RCDG attends the Girl Scout Council’s 69th Council Camp

The 6th Regional Community Defense Group (6RCDG), Reserve Command (RESCOM), Philippine army under the leadership of COL EDRALIN L POBLETE ART (GSC) PA, Group Commander, participated in the 69th Council Camp for Junior, Senior, and Cadet Level held at Camp Pasica, Di**le, Iloilo.

The event was attended by, COL DELFIN C CONSOLACION JR INF (GSC) PA, deputy Commander, COL MICHAEL N ASUNCION GSC (CE) PA, 604th CDC Director, Cpl Eluna Bianca A Camacho (FS) PA as Guest of honor and Speaker together with the 2,000 Junior, Senior, and Cadet Girl Scout participants. Cpl Camacho was chosen to be the Special Guest for she was the only Chief Girl Scout Medalist way back 2007 and awardee of former President Arroyo for her invaluable contribution and expertise in sharing her knowledge and experience that motivated to ignite the spirit of camaraderie and leadership.

Held in the spirit of Scouting, the 69th Council Camp provided an enriching and memorable experience that encouraged every participant to embrace new challenges, build lasting friendships, and continue living by the ideals and values of the Girl Scout movement.
The 6th Regional Community Defense Group (6RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army, will continue its efforts to serve the people, institutionalize the Reserve Force, and strengthen strategic alliances for the betterment of Western Visayas.

6RCDG Participates in Basic Incident Command System Training Conducted by the Office of Civil Defense (OCD)

The 6th Regional Community Defense Group (6RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army under the leadership COL EDRALIN L POBLETE ART (GSC) PA, Group, participates in the Basic Incident Command System Training Conducted by the Office of Civil Defense (OCD).

The Basic Incident Command System (ICS) Training, equips personnel with the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage emergencies and disasters. It promotes a clear chain of command, defined roles and responsibilities, efficient communication, coordinated decision-making, and proper allocation of resources. The training strengthens preparedness and ensures that personnel can work effectively with other agencies during disaster response and emergency operations. Wherein it ultimately helps improve public safety, response efficiency, and overall disaster management.

The 6th Regional Community Defense Group (6RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army, will continue its efforts to serve the people, institutionalize the Reserve Force, and strengthen strategic alliances for the betterment of the community and the nation.

Strengthening the Reserve Force Through Citizen Training and Service: BCMT Class 01-2026 graduates at H6RCDG, Camp Gen Adriano Hernandez, Di**le, Iloilo

The Basic Citizen Military Training (BCMT) “Makamandag” Class 01-2026 successfully concluded with a Closing Ceremony held at Camp General Adriano Hernandez, Di**le, Iloilo, marking a significant milestone in the Reservists journey toward service and leadership.

The ceremony was spearheaded by the 6th Regional Community Defense Group (6RCDG), Reserve Command (RESCOM), Philippine Army, under the leadership COL EDRALIN L POBLETE ART (GSC) PA, Group Commander with LTC ROBINSON M MENDOZA OS (GSC) PA, Commanding Officer, 6FSSU, SPTCOM, PA as the Guest of Honor and Speaker. The momentous event was also graced by the presence of the CDC Director’s from various Community Defense Centers (CDC’s), Training Staff, Civilian Human Resource (CVHr), Government Internship Program (GIP), Proud Parents, Graduating Reservists, and proud Parents.

As the newly trained citizens embark on a new journey, they carry with them the knowledge, skills, and values gained throughout their training. They are now better prepared to contribute to their communities and nation, particularly during times of emergencies and disasters. Equipped with a stronger sense of civic responsibility, they stand ready to reinforce, assist, and respond to the needs of their fellow citizens when called upon.

The 6th Regional Community Defense Group (6RCDG), Reserve Command Philippine Army (RESCOM), will continue its efforts to serve the people, institutionalize the Reserve Force, and strengthen the strategic alliances for the betterment of Western Visayas.

The Basic Citizen Military Training (BCMT) of the 6th Regional Community Defense Group (6RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army, gather for a memorable Smoker’s Night on August 31, 2026, at 6RCDG, Camp Hernandez, Di**le, Iloilo.

The aforementioned event was graced by COL DELFIN C CONSOLACION JR INF (GSC) PA, Deputy Group Commander, which inspired the trainees to continue striving for excellence.

The activity highlighted the camaraderie, friendship, and unity built among the trainees throughout their training journey. It was a time to take a break from the rigors of training, share meaningful moments, knowing each other better and strengthen the bond that makes every challenge easier to overcome.

“In Honor of Our Heroes: 6RCDG Flag Raising Ceremony”

August 31, 2026 - The 6th Regional Community Defense Group (6RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army conducted Flag Raising Ceremony at H6RCDG, Camp Hernandez, Di**le, Iloilo, in observance of the National Heroes Day with COL DELFIN C CONSOLACION JR INF (GSC) PA, Deputy Group Commander. The ceremony also attended by the officers, organic personnel, Human Resources personnel, and BCMT candidates.

This gesture served as a meaningful tribute to the courage, sacrifices, and invaluable contributions of the nation’s heroes who dedicated their lives to the service of the Filipino people. Their legacy continues to remind us of the importance of patriotism, selflessness, courage, and commitment to the nation.

603CDC CONDUCTS PHYSICAL & MEDICAL EXAMINATION AND PHYSICAL FITNESS TEST FOR CATEGORY 1 & 2 RESERVISTS

The 603rd Community Defense Center (603CDC), 6th Regional Community Defense Group (6RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army, successfully conducted the Physical and Medical Examination (PME) for 135 Category 1 and Category 2 Reservist Officers and Enlisted Personnel (Mobile Force Reserve) on 13–14 August 2026 at Camp Peralta Station Hospital, 3ID, PA.

The Physical and Medical Examination (PME) followed by the conduct of the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) on 29 August 2026 at Headquarters 603CDC, Camp Sen Antonio V. Belo, Brgy. Timpas, Panitan, Capiz.

The activities were conducted by the personnel of the MWRC, 3IMB, IMCOM, PA, in coordination with the personnel of Headquarters 603CDC, 6RCDG, RCPA.

The conduct of these activities aims to assess and ensure the physical readiness, medical fitness, and operational preparedness of our Category 1 and Category 2 Reservists who may be mobilized in support of the Philippine Army’s missions.

The successful conduct of these activities demonstrates the continuing commitment of the 603CDC to strengthening the readiness, capability, and operational preparedness of its Reservists in support of the Philippine Army and the nation.

August 30, 2026- COL MICHAEL N ASUNCION CE (GSC) PA, Director of 604th Community Defense Center (CDC), under the supervision of the 6th Regional Community Defense Group (6RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army, interviewed by Bombo Ian Gajete, Bombo Jessa Padios of Bombo Radyo, Aksyon Marvin Malificiar of Aksyon Radyo and Mrs Marjorie Hervo-Maine News Anchor of RMN Iloilo respectively regarding the recruitment of Basic Citizen Military Training (BCMT) in different areas of Iloilo Province.

The interview served as an avenue yo inform the public about the objectives, requirements, and benefits of BCMT, as well as the opportunities to provide the individuals who wish to contribute to the nation through military training and service.

The 604th CDC continues to strengthen its recruitment efforts and reach out to more individuals in the community who are interested in becoming part of the Philippine Army Reserve Force.

6RCDG Integrates BCMT Trainees into 12IB

The 6th Regional Community Defense Group (6RCDG), Reserve Command, Philippine Army, under the leadership of COL EDRALIN L POBLETE ART (GSC) PA, Group Commander, initiated the Integration Training of Basic Citizen Military Training (BCMT) CL 01-26 with MAJ WILFREDO O FERNANDO JR (AGS) PA, Acting Operations Officer of 6RCDG spearheading the activity at Headquarters, 12th Infantry Battalion (12IB), 3rd Infantry Division, Philippine Army, Camp Carreon, Brgy Libot, Calinog, Iloilo.

The Troops were warmly welcomed by LTC RICHARDS CALIVA INF (GS) PA, Commanding Officer, 12IB, 3ID, PA followed by the orientation/briefing on the mission, functions, and responsibilities of the 12th Infantry Battalion. The activity provided them the opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the roles and duties of military personnel and the operations of an Infantry Battalion.

The Integration Training is significant in providing BCMT trainees with actual exposure to the military environment, particularly to the organization, functions, and operations of an Infantry Battalion.

As the administrator of the Citizen Army Builders in Western Visayas, the 6RCDG will continue to strengthen and enhance their capabilities and operational readiness through the continuous conduct of integration training with maneuver units across Region VI.
